Good news, hope he carries on and bags plenty ready for when he comes back here, without getting too many points for them of course!

Would love to give waghorn another go after getting some game time elsewhere and lifting his confidence up

I can't see Waghorn playing for us again personally, not in Sven's plans and im certain that Pearson will want him to create his former leicester team

Even if he does come back here, which i doubt- can you see him getting in the team over Beckford, Nugent, Vassel? i certainly can't

He won;t come back here.

It's a good move for everyone, Sven doesnt like him, he enjoys playing for Pearson. I hope he does well. Nothing against the lad.

It depends if he regains his old form, everyone was happy to have him in the team in 2009 when we managed to get in the play offs, so why not now. Just because we have "better" players doesnt automatically make us a bigger team

Hull currently stand above us in the league with our "ex players" who suddenly arent good enough for us anymore.

Its a good move for everyone apart from Leicester City, Hull are a major rival and could well keep us out the play offs with waggys help. It has DJ campbell written all over it or do people think Hull are no danger to us? we are regretting it already.

Good move for me then as I backed Hull for top 6.

We should only loan to clubs outside of the championship, that way players we loan out won't potentially damage our promotion challenge. Waggy, who is our player, earned our rival hull a point today.

And week in week out, Waggy could be costing our other promotion rivals points, by scoring for Hull against them.

He also has to play AGAINST all our main rivals, West ham, Brighton, Southampton etc hence maybe taking points off them!

We should be finishing above the likes of Hull no matter what with our squad so I really don't see the big deal

Waghorn does not suit Sven's plans.

Some players are not flexible enough to mould to differing Managers ideas and systems, Waghorn is one of those.

Let him move on.

Well we should have finished above Blackpool but we lent then DJ Campbell , the rest is history . What ever is said here about Pearson he was a good manager for us and is more likely to get Hull promoted then Sven will for us . So it seems absolute lunacy to loan out a player who could cost us a promotion place . Jumping Jimmy Jesus have we learned nothing ?

i can see this loaning out players to the same league tactic working well to our advantage in the future, yes they are getting points for their respective teams, but also taking points off of the teams we are battling against. Then there are also the loan clauses that they cant play against us and should they be up with us come near end of season we can always recall them to throw a spanner in the works

Agreed mate, we do seem to have a nasty habit of loaning players to teams who could hurt us in the long run.

I don't think Waggy will be back, its the same deal as Jack Hobbs, loan then permanent, and you wouldnt be as desperate to sign another forward after Nugent if Waghorn was in the plans, the relentless pursuit of Maynard must have made Waggy's mind up quite easily.

There is no point to this thread... Wags might score for Hull, he might not. He's gone, he's not yet part of Svens plans... get over it...

Whats the point of doing anything other? He's away until at least Christmas anyway... focus upon what we still have
