I had a tweet from a Derby fan the other day saying something like;

Forest are at 5-1 for relegation and Notts County are at 10-1 for promotion, £10 would give £660 return.

I'm gonna have to have a flutter...that would be the sweetest £660 of my life...haha

Iv always seen the east midlands rivalries as a bit of a family love in. Derby being the little brother always trying to up us and Leicester the cousin nobody likes trying to get involved..unsuccesfully.

Forest will always be the club people from outside the midlands think of first when it comes to this part of the country. The fact that we are shit now doesn't change that :D

I didn't really think I was too bothered about either of them to be honest. Although I think that's just becasue I don't know any Forest, Derby or Cov fans due to living in the south. However, it is a bloody sweet feeling when we get one over all those bastards and over the years I've come to realise I do care!

Southampton and Reading are just as big for me personally though. God I hate losing to those bastards!

Take stock of what and where you are . You are a club in decline . though you are going somewhere it is swapping places with County . You have no money , a hopeless board and no one to manage you out of your downward spiral . Hopefully we won't have to even think about you when we reach the prem and you go the opposite way unless we meet in the cup . Very true, certainly fortunes do change. To think a few years ago we were both in League One. Can't see us getting out of the championship anytime soon, but i reckon we'll stay up. I wouldn't be too smug, if you don't go up this year your in big trouble with the ridiculous wages your lot are on. Enjoy it while it lasts :D

I went to a uni in your town for a year so might have become infected with the stupidity there..

What are you actually basing that on??

Our owners are making investments throughout the entire infrastructure of the club, not just buying big money players for a one season push for promotion?

Even if that was their plan (which I dont believe is the case) all our players who have been brought in have resale value, with the likes of Kasper, Nugent etc being worth a hell of alot more than we actually paid for them, so not only sound investment, but investment in our future security too.

Dawn, if you like the rest of your little red buddies don't care about us, then why are you constatnly on these boards??...kind of contradicting yourself every time you say "we dont care" don't you think??...I suspect that just like the rest of the people frequenting these boards, you actually care a great deal x
