FuriousFox46 Posted 2 October 2011 Posted 2 October 2011 We say they do. They say they don't. Although, they didn't come out with the insufferable "You're all on your own" chant yesterday. They weren't exactly riling us up.
Filberts Treat Posted 2 October 2011 Posted 2 October 2011 They say they don't but we all know they do.
LCFC BEAST Posted 2 October 2011 Posted 2 October 2011 They both say they don't but they spend all their time telling us that they don't so....
acooling08 Posted 2 October 2011 Posted 2 October 2011 I don't think Derby care that much at all. I think that Forest do care though (even though they hate Derby more)
Larry_LCFC Posted 2 October 2011 Posted 2 October 2011 Like i said yesterday I think they both do care - we are all in the east midlands so they would be unhuman not to. I think they just know they will struggle against us so play down the rivalry so they dont have the piss ripped out of them. At the end of the day we have history with them and that wont ever change. There were a group of derby fans who were definately up for a fight in the last 10 minutes. They all moved right to the segregation and were trying to get to the leicester fans, hence why a load of police were drafted in. Outside the stadium aswell things seemed hostile. Derby fans were being held back by a long line of police and there was a fair bit of pushing and shoving. When clubs like derby and forest say they dont care, to me it just shows that they really do.
EnderbyFox Posted 2 October 2011 Posted 2 October 2011 Both Forest and Derby care if they have beat us, but as soon as we beat them we hear that they only hate each other
Guest BlueBrett Posted 2 October 2011 Posted 2 October 2011 Although, they didn't come out with the insufferable "You're all on your own" chant yesterday. They weren't exactly riling us up. I think they would have loved to give us a bit more grief but I suspect they were just taken aback by the quality of our play. Right from the off there only looked one winner and barring any major **** ups the only real question was how many.
Finchy Posted 2 October 2011 Posted 2 October 2011 I couldn't give a flying ****. THE most deluded set of fans you'll come across. Just leave them alone to think they're Real Madrid and Barcelona, we'll go about our own business.
The Doctor Posted 2 October 2011 Posted 2 October 2011 The simple answer is yes, they just care about each other slightly more.
Yojoe36 Posted 2 October 2011 Posted 2 October 2011 They only care when they're winning. But when we win, they ALWAYS say, "Your not even our real local derby. Your on your own" But when they win it's a COMPLETELY different story
Fox92 Posted 2 October 2011 Posted 2 October 2011 The East Midlands Derby is between Nottingham Forest and Derby, everyone knows that. I think it always will be, Nottingham and Derby is like 14 miles apart. I see the game with Coventry as "the derby". Forest and Derby will always hate each other, but I do think that, Derby fans see us more of a rival than Forest fans see us as a rival. If you get me.
Simmo86 Posted 2 October 2011 Posted 2 October 2011 Yes Why do they have songs that include Leicester if we're 'just another team' As one ram pointed out on dcfcfans, the best atmosphere he's ever experienced at PP was before the famous 4-0 game. ,
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 2 October 2011 Posted 2 October 2011 yes, they wouldnt say that they didnt, if they did

Your fellow trees would be proud.

Bugg Posted 2 October 2011 Posted 2 October 2011 I've always thought Forest hated us more than Derby! I reckon that's about right, especially in Loughborough the Forest-Leicester rivalry is stronger.
Fox92 Posted 2 October 2011 Posted 2 October 2011 Words from a true forest fan there. Your fellow trees would be proud. You can say what you like, it doesn't bother me. I couldn't care less what people think of me. At the end of the day, I follow Leicester City up and down the country. Supporting the club is all what matters and I don't care about little comments on the internet.
BlueSi13 Posted 2 October 2011 Posted 2 October 2011 Games between us and our East Midlands rivals will always be spicy little derbies. However there isn't a club in the country that classes us as THE derby...for better or worse. Well perhaps Coventry City but it seems most of our fans seem hellbent on playing that one down at every opportunity. There are plenty of games that do have plenty of needle though...it just isn't the be all and end all. Not sure why many people would truly care about it to be honest.

rico Posted 2 October 2011 Posted 2 October 2011 well they won't get any derbies next season with us being in the Prem and Forest in League 1
Haydos Posted 2 October 2011 Posted 2 October 2011 I love smashing Forest, Derby and Cov. I bet they all feel the same.
ithuriel Posted 2 October 2011 Posted 2 October 2011 They say they do not hate us but by god do they hate losing to us and it does feel good to continually trounce the sheep and one of these days we will stuff the trees at their ground and bathe in the tears flowing into the trent It is a sunday morning, what can i say
