Reynard Bleu Posted 17 October 2011 Posted 17 October 2011 When the only magazine you take to the bog is BBC Good Food.

Salieri Posted 17 October 2011 Posted 17 October 2011 I recently found a hair growing out of my ear and to make matters worse, it was grey.
Rincewind Posted 17 October 2011 Author Posted 17 October 2011 I still get called son and young man by people younger than me. Should take it as a complment but I find it annoying somehow. Also get called love but I think that's a Leicester thing. Watching Stephen Fry's Planet Word. Very interesting to quote the man himself. Talking about the written word. He actually seems interested in the subject which makes the program better.
Saxondale Posted 19 October 2011 Posted 19 October 2011 The other year I was queuing to get into a nightclub (in Derby actually) and everybody was showing their IDs. As everybody was showing their's I got mine out too as a formality. Cheeky cow bouncer says "you're alright mate, shouldn't you be showing me your bus pass?!" That aside, you know you're getting old when you start choosing your clothes based on comfort and durability.
Rincewind Posted 19 October 2011 Author Posted 19 October 2011 I remember when Time near the station opened, me and a couple of mates went to go in and the Bouncer said 'I don't think this is your kind of place' We were smartly dressed in our Friday evening gear. Suit and tie. I look around now on Friday nights and the 'young 'uns' are going into places with jeans and T-shirts. Would never have got away with it in my day'. as some might say.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 20 October 2011 Posted 20 October 2011 A day after my 24th Birthday i found my first grey hair.....Milddle age indeed.
jonthefox Posted 20 October 2011 Posted 20 October 2011 I noticed young girls dont hand me night club flyers in town anymore.
Saxondale Posted 20 October 2011 Posted 20 October 2011 I noticed young girls dont hand me night club flyers in town anymore. Same here. Harsh.
Vacamion Posted 20 October 2011 Posted 20 October 2011 When the barber wordlessly leans over and clippers my eyebrows. The first time he did that, I felt a bit abused.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 20 October 2011 Posted 20 October 2011 I still feel eighteen, and always have done, since I passed that age. It's great to remain young. Yippee!
