Ashley Posted 23 October 2011 Posted 23 October 2011 Let's forget about about the Millwall defeat we were shocking yesterday, no excuses. All away games this season Leicester fans have sung a song for nearly every player on the pitch, I think this is good and gives the players a confidence boost. This used to happen all the time at Filbert Street. I've had my season ticket since around the age of 6 I'm still a young lad but I can remember before every home game every player got a song sung about them. Lets carry this into the West Ham game. Also when West Ham sing "I'm forever blowing bubbles" can we try and drown them out with "oh when the blues, go marching in" or just whistle or boo. We need to be the 12TH man, some say its an over used term but no it isn't. Anyone remember Birmingham at home when we lost 2-1? The whole ground singing the great escape for the whole second half lets try and get something like that going again. You are my Leicester.
Dan Posted 23 October 2011 Posted 23 October 2011 Wish this was the case always but sadly it just seems nowadays there's a vast minority of fans that have any interest in creating an atmosphere. I'll be taking part though, of course.
SMX11 Posted 23 October 2011 Posted 23 October 2011 I completely agree with this, but I think it is more of the case that the football we are playing is just plain dull and people are finding it difficult to vocally get behind the team when they are passing around at the back going nowhere. Our away support is excellent and if I could I would only go the away games as it is a far greater experience than sitting in the cold and getting dirty looks when I start shouting or trying to start/join in with a chant.
Kitchandro Posted 23 October 2011 Posted 23 October 2011 Speaking of I'm forever blowing bubbles - why were we singing that yesterday? Tossers.
Bausor Posted 23 October 2011 Posted 23 October 2011 Speaking of I'm forever blowing bubbles - why were we singing that yesterday? Tossers. I also heard this, maybe it was supossed to wined the millwall fans up just a guess
Kitchandro Posted 23 October 2011 Posted 23 October 2011 I also heard this, maybe it was supossed to wined the millwall fans up just a guess Well yes I'm sure that's exactly why we were singing it, still retarded to sing other club's songs though.
tylesta Posted 23 October 2011 Posted 23 October 2011 Well yes I'm sure that's exactly why we were singing it, still retarded to sing other club's songs though. To many people been watching green street!!! morons! it's just as bad as if we sung steve bloomers watching to forest fans.......some really dopey fans we have <<<< not aimed at everyone
Dan Posted 23 October 2011 Posted 23 October 2011 They were seriously singing Forever Blowing Bubbles? Our fans are becoming an embarrassment. Absolutely small-time as fvck having to revert to singing to a rival of the oppositions song rather than anything of our own.
Nath Posted 23 October 2011 Posted 23 October 2011 How about the poznan before the game or as the come out. Let the players see us unite, and maybe they will!
sam3212 Posted 23 October 2011 Posted 23 October 2011 or lets not do that ****ing poznan shite just becos we saw man city do it!
Soar Fox Posted 23 October 2011 Posted 23 October 2011 Clapping N'Guessan when he came on was embarrassing aswell. People slated Matt Oakely when he clapped the Derby fans but some people clap an ex player who didn't do anything for our club. It wasn't even as if he was here for a long time.
lcfc_sam_p Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 How about we stop thinking of every little thing to moan about? Just a thought.
J.Lisemore Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 How about we make some noise and get behind the boys like the OP says. Instead of sitting there like flask carriers.
teblin Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 First time I heard the yuki song on Saturday. Awful cringe worthy stuff.
lcfc_sam_p Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Agreed j.lisemore. Its what the team needs at the moment!
Callabinho Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 I'm in total agreement with this, we should be more vocal at home, because it has a huge effect on the players. I think most people are just sat in a state of shock half the time, how a near £12 million pound team could get so easily turned over by Millwall. Also can anybody remember the Blackburn game under Micky Adams in our last prem stint, we chanted Micky Adams Blue army for the best part of 20 minuets, and it really lifted the players and we went on to win! My hands were red raw after! We should do that again. But with Svens name obviously.
