The People's Hero Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 Are there any stats available for statistically (obviously) how do managerless teams (or at least those with no permanent manager) get on?
Leicesterpool Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 Are there any stats available for statistically (obviously) how do managerless teams (or at least those with no permanent manager) get on? Leicester beat barnsley 2-0 after Megson left, Gerry Taggart was in charge for that game.
Narborough_fox Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 Are there any stats available for statistically (obviously) how do managerless teams (or at least those with no permanent manager) get on? We beat Scunny 3-1 with Chrissy P and Stowell as manager.
The People's Hero Posted 28 October 2011 Author Posted 28 October 2011 What about as a wider phenomenom? Any stats?
Salieri Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 I'm no statistician and can't be arsed to find out but I think they normally do well. Although away at the Hammers is a tough ask. The caretaker manager normally produces early results and 'flatters to deceive' often resulting in the club to appoint him/them,normally with disastrous consequences in the long term.
Corky Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 Rob Kelly won his first three league games as caretaker.
The People's Hero Posted 28 October 2011 Author Posted 28 October 2011 Just noticed one of the posters reading this thread was 'Steve Agnew'. Planning to throw your hat in to ring Steve? I'm sure Top is conscious of your mediocre midfield stylings of the early 90s. COuld be just what we need? In fairness though you'd have stiff competition to beat off (hehe) in the form of Steve Thompson (penalty taking god - not like you Agnew you IDIOT)

Not quite a Thompson or an Oldfield but deserves respect all the same.

Saxondale Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 Agnew apparantly a coach at the Boro these days. He wasn't bad. No Steve Thompson, granted. People's Hero - what are you drinking? FYI, I'm drinking Ricard pastis.

People's Hero - what are you drinking? FYI, I'm drinking Ricard pastis. I started the evening with a couple of pints of lager and lime (that is honest and genuine). God knows why. I selected a bottle of Tempranillo, but have got distracted (by FT) and never opened it. Got to do a trip to the tumbledryer in a mo (its a glamorous life i lead - oh and the TD is in the shed, hence the trip, I don't just have a huge house) so I'll probably sort a Tom Collins whilst I'm down there.
nuttytimmy Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 Frank Burrows. Ah, but he was nowt without his flat cap.
Spudulike Posted 29 October 2011 Posted 29 October 2011 So if we win the next two matches then perhaps we have a solution to our problem
