The People's Hero Posted 28 October 2011 Author Posted 28 October 2011 That is up there, pushing for Europe in my eyes. Agreed. I'd love this thread to remain there or thereabouts tomorrow during all the manager speculation and despite the ongoing match! I'm surprised how few of the mascots I was familiar with. Forest's I have to say is grudgingly good. Unsurprisingly, Coventry's is an insipid embarrassment to their club.... seriously....
Narborough_fox Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 r Horrendous, surely fighting off relegation from League Two.

The People's Hero Posted 28 October 2011 Author Posted 28 October 2011 Shockingly, someone has beaten us to this - but never done the full 92. http://www.thebesteleven.com/2009/04/best-english-soccer-mascots.html

Narborough_fox Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 Brentford is brilliant, the smile, everything!
ScouseFox Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 2nd place in gayest mascot ever competition, just behind "Rammie" the Ram.
The People's Hero Posted 28 October 2011 Author Posted 28 October 2011 Queerest mascot ever. You're right. League 2 is certainly a competitive division in this thing. We may have to re-think some choices. I'm not sure what you guys think but that is a SH IT mascot.
Saxondale Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 2nd place in gayest mascot ever competition, just behind "Rammie" the Ram. What the fvck is that? The gayest hippo since George off Rainbow.
Kitchandro Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 r Horrendous, surely fighting off relegation from League Two. What's that mess down his shirt? Did he have his lunch without taking his suit off?!
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 An eagle with sunglasses. It doesn't get much cooler than this, surely.

Saxondale Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 I'm not joking here, but Southend' have a mascot called "Elvis J. Eel"
The People's Hero Posted 28 October 2011 Author Posted 28 October 2011 An eagle with sunglasses. It doesn't get much cooler than this, surely. I personally think that's a monstrosity. It's a bold monstrosity, so credit for not just having a hugely ill-fitting sort of strangely coloured semi-Elephant like thing (take note Cov) but I still think its pretty nasty.
Kitchandro Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 An eagle with sunglasses. It doesn't get much cooler than this, surely. Was gonna say I like Ipswich's, that Horse looks like he's been on the jagerbombs at Disney World. Is Wigan's Hey Arnold?

I thought Ipswich maybe deserved better and United worse - but its a game of opinions after all. We need to find a way to put this to the vote. Or just forget about it. But probably put it to the vote.
Kitchandro Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 I suppose Forest's is quite predictable, but they do realise Robin Hood was supposed to be from Sheffield don't they?

Do it league by league 20 prem, 24 in the football league and then poll it each league for a week? Number of votes dedicates the position.
