Happy Fox Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 thanks for the 3 points in August, see you at the Gate in the new year Nicky Maynard will be coming in January for a cut price fee of £2m don't tell the OTIB lot
BCFCAndrew Posted 8 November 2011 Author Posted 8 November 2011 Nicky Maynard will be coming in January for a cut price fee of £2m don't tell the OTIB lot to be fair, the way he is playing this season....you'd be welcome to him Seriously though, good little player, but needs to be in a better team then ours. As for the otib, were not all that bad

BCFCAndrew Posted 8 November 2011 Author Posted 8 November 2011 Your a good one , wouldn't mind Nicky Maynard but I think that ship has well and truly sailed. dont bet on it. He will not be signing a contract here, and IF we get out of the mess we are in by January, City will cash in. If Leicester are top 8, he would definately be interested. He is a good player, but the type of player who needs good players around him. He would fit in well with you. Fingers crossed he stays here though, we need all the help we can get at the bit

Fingers crossed he stays here though, we need all the help we can get at the bit I didn't understand the reluctance of your board to accept the big amount of money we were willing to pay, in hindsight do you think you should have accepted it?, anyway it is in the past now, and if by chance Maynard comes here then so be it. Good luck for the rest of the season
BCFCAndrew Posted 8 November 2011 Author Posted 8 November 2011 Maynard wasn't interested and was hoping for a Prem move. He is a very ambitious young lad and yes, money is a factor, but he wants to play at the highest level. If Maynard had wanted to go to you and had expressed that desire, we would have a accepted. Also, £6m is a lot, however the owner isn't short of a few bob himself. We don't NEED that money that drastically Like I said, if we pull out of this mess by January, expect Nicky to move on
John Matrix Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 maynard will need to start scoring some goals if he want s a decent prem move and wage

Saxondale Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 I was becoming concerned that this thread was beginning to morph into ANOTHER Maynard thread stealthily. Welcome change of subject.
fox in the sox Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 I did....and im gonna be £500 better off ;-) You couldn't donate it to us could you? We're a bit short of cash at the moment.
kyle09uk Posted 9 November 2011 Posted 9 November 2011 Me to, although I got £20 at 25's! So happy days I'd of atleast put £100 on!
BCFCAndrew Posted 9 November 2011 Author Posted 9 November 2011 I'd of atleast put £100 on! If I could afford it, I would have. I earn a crappy wage and was the wrong time of the month, so this money (hopefully) will get home very helpful

I earn a crappy wage and was the wrong time of the month, so this money (hopefully) will get home very helpful Fair play to you. Had my internet been up and running properly, and I'd read this thread comvbined with what I was told id have stuck big money on it. (cant afford it, but that's what overdrafts are for) Out of interest, what odds did you get? I want to kick myself knowing what I'd have won sticking 300 on it!)
