I'm a Carpenter/Joiner Apprentice, I am on a day release course, where I go college 1 day a week (Mondays - We break up from college tomorrow so then its work every day/every week until september) then work full time the rest of the week, I work for a shopfitting firm, We don't normally go out and fit, becuase I work for the manufacturing part of the company, then the company who we are owned by have the fitters, but we do occasionally go out and fit shops. We do bigs jobs for big companys.

I'm an IT Support Technician during the holidays at a college near me. I am on call to go to different departments to help and to set up new machines etc. It is quite a good job with good money and the best thing is that i can work for as many or as little hours as i want. Bonus!

cool. I used to work as an IT Technician for a large plastics manufacturing company in Leicester. The money was crap but the job is good because obviously working on PCs is something you want to do as it's a specialist job.

Anyway I decided to start my own business and am trying to get it off the ground at the mo!

I have just finished my 2nd year of uni at Newcastle University studying Information Systems. I am enjoying it just trying to get together as much experience as I can and trying to learn additional stuff to make me stand out when I try and get a job after i graduate.

Just finished a short stint as waiter in central Copenhagen...those people are seriously underpaid!... I work part-time for my cousin's comics store, giving critical opinions on French comics which they consider translating, and I also do some translating to some extent. Starting uni again in September..

At the moment I am processing unpaid (i.e bounced) cheques for NatWest Bank customers/people who pay cheques over Natwest branches. I will start Law School in September and hopefully start training to become a solicitor after that.

Varied career but even at 56 would relish an exciting new challenge.

Writing for Greenpeace or Friends of the Earth would be ideal. Something worthwhile that might just make a difference. Ideas/proposals welcome.
