Happy Fox Posted 22 November 2011 Author Posted 22 November 2011 Heskey and howards game isnt about scoring it is about Holding the ball up and bringing other players into the game. the only realistic players i can think of are Jelavic who would cost u around 7-9m. and Holt who is personally my favoured target man but if holt isnt possible i cannot think of any other target man bar heskey that is realistic? Nige is keeping cards close to chest, but information i received today says that Nige has been quoted as saying "nothing is impossible" rather than his normal answer of "We wont be discussing transfers". So who knows, appreciate people don't like un-sourced information around here, so please don't hit me with unfair mail and posts, just take it or leave it please.

Nugent and Beckford are 2 of the best GOALSCORERS!!!!11!!1 in the division, we need someone to provide them with the chances to score. I think Heskey would be a good partner to either, if they can't function together and form a good partnership then Heskey or an equivalent type player would be high on my list of January targets.

We need to keep the ball on the floor and while Nugent harries defenders, Beckford can poach the goals. We don't need a target man, we have one in Howard. Neither Howard nor Heskey are prolific scorers either so I don't see the benefit of having both in the squad. We need young players with pace. Play Schlupp.
