crisp packet Posted 20 November 2011 Posted 20 November 2011 Would love him back , we need some one to hold ball up PLUS wingers.....!
bluearmyfox23 Posted 20 November 2011 Posted 20 November 2011 Would welcome heskey with open arms i think pearson would like a new target man beacuse howard's legs have gone and i personally carnt think of anyone cheaper or better than heskey?! Has anyone else got any ideas apart from heskey ?
Tuna Posted 20 November 2011 Posted 20 November 2011 Emile was born 11/1/1978, he's 33 stupid journo do your ****ing research.
MPH Posted 20 November 2011 Posted 20 November 2011 . If Emile wants to end his career at Leicester, I think I'd take him. I know he isn't getting any younger, but he holds the ball up well and would be a good target - I know Howard is as well though. And a lot faster So he is younger, faster and infinitely better than Howard.... I dont understand why people would not want him....
bluearmyfox23 Posted 20 November 2011 Posted 20 November 2011 So he is younger, faster and infinitely better than Howard.... I dont understand why people would not want him.... Exactly !! I share the same opinion
Ashley Posted 20 November 2011 Posted 20 November 2011 It's a pile of push, as others have pointed out. No quotes from the manager, just assumption applied. He is to old anyway. What do you base this on? He starts for Aston Villa. In the PREMIER LEAGUE.
BrummieFOX Posted 20 November 2011 Posted 20 November 2011 Hope not #justsaying Why are you using a hashtag on a forum?! Can't really see Pearson going in for him to be honest. Probably not what we need.

Head Honcho Posted 21 November 2011 Posted 21 November 2011 If we're as ambitious as we say we are I doubt he'll get anything more than an 18 month contract and if we do happen to get promoted this season, he'll be redundant next season. No thanks. He's had his day.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 21 November 2011 Posted 21 November 2011 Hmm Lazy Journalism Methinks Very lazy. They didn't even know we weren't playing on Saturday.
wolfgang amadeus Posted 21 November 2011 Posted 21 November 2011 Would love it if anything like this was to happen, pretty confident he could still do a job for us.
accessory Posted 21 November 2011 Posted 21 November 2011 Heskey's family have told sources in Leicester that a move to City WILL happen in January. If so, then cheerio Howard..
Fox92 Posted 21 November 2011 Posted 21 November 2011 So he is younger, faster and infinitely better than Howard.... I dont understand why people would not want him.... Why did you quote me? I didn't say I wouldn't take him. If so, then cheerio Howard.. Why? We could have two target men just incase.
PaulMcCartneysLoveChild Posted 21 November 2011 Posted 21 November 2011 What do you base this on? He starts for Aston Villa. In the PREMIER LEAGUE. The first part was based on the newspaper clip. The second part was based on his age.
Narborough_fox Posted 21 November 2011 Posted 21 November 2011 Just made Emile of a good chance in the Spurs - Villa game. I'll grab my coat.
Guest MattP Posted 21 November 2011 Posted 21 November 2011 Watching him tonight he just looks finished, awful to see.
Guy Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 As soon as Emile has a bad game and gets written off by the majority he often comes back and has a stormer....! Still defies his age and long time in the game at the top level IMO....
accessory Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 He had a shocker at Spurs, as did the whole Villa team. McLeish playing him as a deep-lying midfielder didn't help, though. I can't see him dislodging Bent or Agbonlahor, so he may well be moving when the transfer window re-opens.
Leicesterpool Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 Heskey I think his just the signing Leicester need, he can hold the ball for a long time, perfect if for example he's holding the ball in the box to give time for someone else to bang it in. If he does come I'm afraid I can see Howard's time at the club coming to a close.

The Year Of The Fox Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 This article was published about a week before the 19th November, as I remember reading it. A nothing story. Thankfully
MPH Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 But Howard actually scores goals... So does Emile when played in a formation/ style that suites him. Scored more than 20 in his first season at Liverpool. In the Premier league. Steve Howard has only ever score 20 or above in the 1st and 2nd divisions... his highest in the CHAMPIONSHIP ( note: NOT the prem) is 19 for Derby. In the premier league for Derby he scored 1 in 21 games. .
bluearmyfox23 Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 Heskey and howards game isnt about scoring it is about Holding the ball up and bringing other players into the game. the only realistic players i can think of are Jelavic who would cost u around 7-9m. and Holt who is personally my favoured target man but if holt isnt possible i cannot think of any other target man bar heskey that is realistic?
