MC Prussian Posted 19 November 2011 Posted 19 November 2011 Disgraceful scenes at the Zurich derby a couple of weeks ago, when FC fans started to throw flares into the Grasshopper sector. http://www.thelocal....1104_1666.html# As a consequence, the Zurich derby was called off with about twenty minutes to go. Both clubs have been hit with fines of roughly £30'000 each, GC winning the match 3-0 forfeit and all away fans have been banned from the following two derby matches. A few weeks later, a FC Zurich fan blew his own hand into pieces and a ball boy got injured due to a flare during their away game at Lazio earlier this month. Today has seen another shameful similar event, albeit in Germany: St. Pauli and Hansa Rostock followers don't particularly like each other, haven't done so since the shocking events 18 years back (Pauli fans tend to be left-wing and there's a lot of Neo-Nazis in the Rostock scene), so it came as no surprise that the police presence was massive at the DKB-Arena during the latest clash. A Rostock player received a red card early on following a check to the head with his elbow, then, with their team losing 1-0, coming back to 1-1 with ten men, Rostock fans started to throw flares into the St. Pauli block, followed by cigarette lighters and bananas in the second half. http://sports.yahoo....?urn=sow-wp6794 Once the game was over, Rostock fans continued to vent their anger by attacking the police outside the stadium with bricks and bottles. At least eight policemen got injured in the process.
HEGGSY Posted 19 November 2011 Posted 19 November 2011 Twats like this that give the game a bad name.

Guest Bilo Posted 19 November 2011 Posted 19 November 2011 Hansa Rostock are known for being overrun by neo-Nazi, knuckle dragging fvckwits and have been for a number of years. Think a German Millwall on crack. The police must be delighted when this fixture comes up.
MC Prussian Posted 20 November 2011 Author Posted 20 November 2011 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2p6QMXQX5lg And the crowd cheers...
Fox92 Posted 20 November 2011 Posted 20 November 2011 Why can't fans just go and watch the football? And that applies to this country as well.
davieG Posted 20 November 2011 Posted 20 November 2011 Flares - they're really quite safe aren't they
purpleronnie Posted 20 November 2011 Posted 20 November 2011 Flares - they're really quite safe aren't they In the hands of idiots......
davieG Posted 20 November 2011 Posted 20 November 2011 In the hands of idiots...... But we don't get idiots going to football matches so they're very safe
purpleronnie Posted 20 November 2011 Posted 20 November 2011 But we don't get idiots going to football matches so they're very safe I know, lets face it anything can be unsafe in the hands of idiots.
Finnegan Posted 20 November 2011 Posted 20 November 2011 The Greeks against the Croats the other week was ****ing mental, they threw molatov cocktails at the Croats!! None of this pussy-ass flare nonsense! It's a bit crazy though. As Rob says, Rostock supporters are known for being complete filth and more than a little bit insane and the hate between them and Die Paulianer is renowned.
Guest MattP Posted 21 November 2011 Posted 21 November 2011 Being St Pauli it's a shame they didn't chuck a few more in, vile bastards. Every time I get off the train at Hamburg DLF i get accosted by some tramp with a skull and crossbones asking for money.
Finnegan Posted 21 November 2011 Posted 21 November 2011 Yeah, how dare those filthy homeless have no money - let's firebomb their favourite football club. Don't be a tard. You might be somewhat right wing but you're not completely inhuman.

You might be somewhat right wing but you're not completely inhuman. Yeah was maybe a tad harsh, however every problem I seem to have encountered in Hamburg involves one of these morons. Shame as well as the area around the port in St Pauli is a great place to be. I'm not attached to any "wing" either.
