21st Century Fox Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 Why in life do good things always get changed? It's the same in every company around the world, from the bbc to the nhs. Is it because someone has to justify their job by creating projects? I wouldn't say so, things stagnant if they don't change. The sports website needed to be better differentiated from the news website because the Olympics are coming and traffic is going to increase alot more. Like its been mentioned before the colour change is to bring it inline with the branding for the TV coverage, which is pretty important when you think about how many more people will be visiting it and the fact that the line between TV and the internet is becoming increasingly blurred it makes sense to make that a fluid experience.

nothin2seehere Posted 5 February 2012 Posted 5 February 2012 It's awful, took me ten minutes to find our bloody page! It looks terrible on a mobile too! Took me 10 seconds I like the new page. I love being able to look at different league live results or different "as it stands" tables without needing to go to different pages.

Brighton didn't seem to be an issue so might just have been teething issues.
dave the caveman Posted 6 February 2012 Posted 6 February 2012 Still trying to get used to the new layout. It's a lot better if you zoom out a bit. Zoomed in it just seems to busy, not clean enough with too many different font sizes, font colours, font highlights and not a lot of structure. But when you zoom out it becomes clearer.

Thank god, just meant people with too much time on their hands 'predicting' the whole season and we'd end up finishing top 10 points clear. I don't mind the site, definitely needed a revamp. The yellow is a bit garish but all in all pretty decent.
