Grewks Posted 17 February 2012 Posted 17 February 2012 His attitude all season has made clear the fact that he does not want to be here. The watford game for me was the last straw, no appreciation towards the fans before or after the game, and with the quality of defending we have seen from his this season, im sure he would not be strong enough for league two. He is an absolute donkey, he does not care about this club - get rid nige. I would take any defeat from our boys as long as they cared, on the way back from watford we say nugent in his range rover on the motor way and in mcdonalds and he looked real depressed. five minutes later danns and delfouneso walked in, you could tell from Danns's voice that he was down about the defeat, he even apologised for losing the ball in the lead up to their third, these are the sort of players we need at this club.
Salieri Posted 17 February 2012 Posted 17 February 2012 So, to summarise, had Mills walked into McDonalds with a long face all would be forgiven?
HEGGSY Posted 17 February 2012 Posted 17 February 2012 So, to summarise, had Mills walked into McDonalds with a long face all would be forgiven? I think that's what he's getting at
Captain... Posted 17 February 2012 Posted 17 February 2012 Yes, I think we should sacrifice Mills in the centre circle before the game tomorrow, that will solve all our problems.
NiftyFox Posted 17 February 2012 Posted 17 February 2012 Mills on the Football League Show mentioned he was planning to buy a house around Leicester as he wants to stay with the club. This must mean he is committed.
Grewks Posted 17 February 2012 Author Posted 17 February 2012 So, to summarise, had Mills walked into McDonalds with a long face all would be forgiven? Did you go to the game? If you did you would realise how bad he was, he didnt care. Consistent shouts towards him from pearson were ignored, he will not be playing tomorrow, maybe and hopefully not again. When Morgan came on he looked 10x as better, one thing you need to be as a defender is committed, mills is clearly not. I hope we begin to play some young players such as Hopper, looked to have a natural ability when he came on as a sub against swindon.

He is also dating matt elliot's daughter, you thought he would give him some tips on how to defend.
Captain... Posted 17 February 2012 Posted 17 February 2012 Goats, pentagrams, virgins, the lot, we need to sacrifice him to the dark lord to get a result tomorrow, the worrying thing is if we sacrifice Mills for this match and win, who do we sacrifice for the quarter final?
Guest Col city fan Posted 17 February 2012 Posted 17 February 2012 The serious point made by the OP is being dismissed in favour of sarcasm, again by the usual suspects... I agree... Compared to pre season expectation, Mills has been very very average. He still appears nervy, his distribution is dire. SSL looks a far more accomplished centre back. I'd drop Mills at present quick as a flash in favour of Morgan.
Happy Fox Posted 17 February 2012 Posted 17 February 2012 Mills is our CB yes he has his flaws but you would hope that alongside someone like Morgan against teams where they use target men he may play better just a thought.

Because it's been discussed to death, and the reasoning behind it is retarded, Danns and Nugent were upset in McDonalds, Mills didn't go to McDonalds, he doesn't care!!! Why the fvck professional footballers are eating McDonalds is beyond me, they should be eating healthy food and looking after what they eat.
caz05 Posted 17 February 2012 Posted 17 February 2012 Yeah, yeah. But did he look miserable? come too think of it

Thats where the term 'balanced diet' comes from. I'm sure they burn it off during the week...
sharpie Posted 17 February 2012 Posted 17 February 2012 Mills is awful i said it 3 months ago and was shouted down, drop him i wish sol was back best defender we have got, and a player who wants to win!

How about you quote the part which i said that 'mills didnt go to mcdonalds and so he doesnt care', oh wait you wont be able to. Only Nugent ate from mcdonalds, danns and delfouneso used the loo. Judging by his performances and the rest of the teams, they should all eat mcdonalds. What i would say is that your comment is about as useful as Mills's defending for Watford's 3rd goal. Did you even go??

I care not about whether he looks happy or whether he eats in McD's. I do care that we keep on losing football matches and that Mills cannot pass a ball to one of our players often enough. He needs a kick up the arris and to be informed that he is not and will not be automatic first choice. I want to start winning games, rather than keeping up with this happiness of mediocrity. Like Salieri, it's easier to continually mock than to actually discuss where the team is falling short. Mills has not been a patch on the player I believed he would be. He needs to improve and quickly IMO.

Happy Fox Posted 17 February 2012 Posted 17 February 2012 Dropping Mills last time f**ked up his confidence whether he has that conviction of self belief to show the attributes and qualities of a leader on the pitch who will fight for the cause in times of adversity and hardship now is the time Mills to deliver we are right behind you
