Salieri Posted 17 February 2012 Posted 17 February 2012 Only Nugent ate from mcdonalds, danns and delfouneso used the loo. Well if Nugent ate at McDonalds he clearly had an appetite, unacceptable really after the shambolic display at Watford. At least Danns and Fonz were still feeling bad about it.
Kitchandro Posted 17 February 2012 Posted 17 February 2012 Goats, pentagrams, virgins, the lot, we need to sacrifice him to the dark lord to get a result tomorrow, the worrying thing is if we sacrifice Mills for this match and win, who do we sacrifice for the quarter final? As a Foxes Talkh regular you should know that there's not really a shortage of candidates
acooling08 Posted 17 February 2012 Posted 17 February 2012 This thread is stupid, and just really goes to show how many twats there are on this forum.
Guest Col city fan Posted 17 February 2012 Posted 17 February 2012 Yes and you're one of the 'usual suspects' who's like a fly around shit whenever there's criticism flying about. Mediocrity is the name of the game... Rather than taking the piss offer some insight for a change. I don't criticise Nugent, kasper, konchesky... I'm sure I have said that Drinky is our best young hope for years??? Is that criticism..? No, instead I try to look at where we can improve. That's why I point out that Beckford has got three goals all season, that Mills is nervous at the back and that Danns does not score enough goals for an attacking midfielder. You, however, remain happy with the status quo and mock, rather than nail your colours to the mast. Try and give us your own views on things sometimes eh?

Guest Col city fan Posted 17 February 2012 Posted 17 February 2012 Hmmm...........perhaps Heather Mills would have been more like it !! As long as she got ot on her right foot i mean !!
Grewks Posted 17 February 2012 Author Posted 17 February 2012 Dropping Mills last time f**ked up his confidence whether he has that conviction of self belief to show the attributes and qualities of a leader on the pitch who will fight for the cause in times of adversity and hardship now is the time Mills to deliver we are right behind you I hate that excuse for dropping a player, you drop a player who is playing bad because a - he is out of form and therefore understands the reasons for dropping him or b - he doesnt give a shit and therefore you are giving him a kick up the arse. Eitherway if you lose confidence from this then you do not have a strong enough character to play for a club as big as ours. People say we should play a defender like morgan along side him to deal with a target man, but mills is not a 'clever' defender unlike St.Ledger, Mills is put into the team to deal with the big forwards, gestede and Iwelumo proved he cannot do his job properly.
Kitchandro Posted 17 February 2012 Posted 17 February 2012 He was on east midlands tonight aswell saying its a great honour to play for the club he supported as a child and an even bigger honour to captain it

samlcfc1 Posted 17 February 2012 Posted 17 February 2012 Mills's defending has been rather good IMO, only thing that has let him down is his distribution but that can improve but as a defender he is quality

I definitely recall Mr Stringer saying 'somebody give that boy a cheeseburger' after his second goal.

Ok, well I think all of the players mentioned are and will be good enough for us, in this league anyway. Beckford, as I have said before has come on leaps and bounds in recent weeks. Danns was used very little early on and largely out of position when he was. Lately, in the main, he has looked much better (unsurprisingly when used in the middle). Mills has had a shaky start without a doubt, but again, recently and alongside SSL has begun to look the part. He hasn't as yet lived up to his (inflated) price tag but I believe with a bit of faith and a run in the side with a settled defensive partner he will prove to be more than good enough for this level. He needs to work on his discipline and his decision making but has the makings of a good centre back.
Brauny Fox Posted 17 February 2012 Posted 17 February 2012 1st post, only usually read to keep up to date with opinions etc. I firmly believe everyone is entitled to their opinions, even if they are wrong (Grewks!). Its been said time and time again, no player sits in the dressing room at 14:45 and thinks "ahh fcuk it, I'm gonna have a baddun today" so to say Mills' heart isn't in it is, well, just plain stupid. Also, in my opinion (wrong or right) we were solid in the few games up until watford, 1 bad display and, again, fans turn into experts of football and psychology. I do bring advice however, if watching Mills and co brings you this much pain, don't go down, stay at home because we don't need you.

z-layrex Posted 17 February 2012 Posted 17 February 2012 Mills is your next scapegoat then eh lads? Bored of giving Wellens all the shit? ****ing Leicester fans.
Wherethefoxhat? Posted 17 February 2012 Posted 17 February 2012 He was on east midlands tonight aswell saying its a great honour to play for the club he supported as a child and an even bigger honour to captain it And could his mum tinkle the ivories ? Something else i tell you ! Thinking about it.............she'd probably have made a better centre half than him tbh !! Am i right Col ???
Petchy Posted 17 February 2012 Posted 17 February 2012 Or it means he is on a ridiculous amount of money at this club, an amount he will not recieve elsewhere. He is also dating matt elliot's daughter, you thought he would give him some tips on how to defend. Really? I used to go school with her. She's only like a year older than me, and he's 25!
Foxhateram Posted 17 February 2012 Posted 17 February 2012 He's crap like wellens and gallagher and dyer. Sack the board, the manager, everyone! Up the city. Doh!

If so you will clearly see that he is not good enough. I will go back to cov away, first game of the season, did you attend? If so you will see how poor he was. He has not improved, shown no desire to improve, and therefore will not improve. Get rid now and save the club some money.
Captain... Posted 17 February 2012 Posted 17 February 2012 I care not about whether he looks happy or whether he eats in McD's. I do care that we keep on losing football matches and that Mills cannot pass a ball to one of our players often enough. He needs a kick up the arris and to be informed that he is not and will not be automatic first choice. I want to start winning games, rather than keeping up with this happiness of mediocrity. Like Salieri, it's easier to continually mock than to actually discuss where the team is falling short. Mills has not been a patch on the player I believed he would be. He needs to improve and quickly IMO. I have discussed this team's failings and successes and various players performances to death, as have many others in a perfectly normal rational way. I have enjoyed some of the disagreements we have had Col, but it has been discussed to death. The original post adds nothing to the debate, except he saw some players in McDonalds and they looked sad, Mills' attitude has been discussed, defended and attacked on the back of things like going on Soccer AM, not applauding the fans, not being in a photo. The original post like many others on here, just smacks of the typical clueless kneejerk attitudes that really pollute these boards. I don't think Mills should be automatic choice, and I have questioned his captaincy, but there aren't many candidates at the moment, maybe you would rather have Bamba (can't be arsed to come back from the ACON) and SSL (lets not forget he had an argument with NP and was nearly sold) at centre back, not exactly inspirational. So rather than wasting my time having lengthy pointless debates going over the same things, I am going to be sarcastic and hopefully make a couple of people laugh and cheer up these boards, god knows it needs a bit of lightheartedness.
z-layrex Posted 17 February 2012 Posted 17 February 2012 Really? I used to go school with her. She's only like a year older than me, and he's 25! If her feet touch the floor when she sits on the toilet it's legal.
Grewks Posted 17 February 2012 Author Posted 17 February 2012 Really? I used to go school with her. She's only like a year older than me, and he's 25! Yes mate, know her brother Charlie in the same year as me at school. Their mom lives in desford and his dad his often in the pubs around the villages.
