Corky Posted 29 February 2012 Posted 29 February 2012 Liverpool are a big club, they have won a European Cup in the last decade. I'm not an admirer of them but they are a massive club.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 29 February 2012 Posted 29 February 2012 I didn't think the English "cared." I dislike them for disliking us. A feeling which is probably reciprocated
Finnegan Posted 29 February 2012 Posted 29 February 2012 It's the same old argument as to what constitutes a 'big club' Liverpool don't win much anymore. Coalville Town got to the new Wembley before Liverpool. Granted Liverpool have won all those titles, but how many years ago? My missus' mum may have been fit 20 years ago, but she fkin ain't now! Uhmmmm....
Kitchandro Posted 29 February 2012 Posted 29 February 2012 How about International teams? 1. Argentina - The hand of God aside (which their fans actually take pride in), Just generally being dirty cheating bastards since the dawn of time. 2. Germany - duh 3. Brazil - Everybody bloody loves them for no reason. The media bums them so much it's ridiculous. Even when they're blatantly an average side, like at the last world cup, Hansen and co have to druel over every thing they do. And that Maicon goal WAS a fluke, it was shit goalkeeping, so shut your trap Tyldesley. 4. Scotland - They always want us to fail. 5. South Korea - fixed their way to the semi-final in one of the dodgiest world cups of all time. And that's saying something, because they're almost always rigged.
Head Honcho Posted 29 February 2012 Posted 29 February 2012 I can't believe we have a thread with over a 150 posts about our hatred of other clubs! Some of you really do need to get a life.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 29 February 2012 Posted 29 February 2012 Marseille, Ajax, Porto and Borussia Dortmund have won the chimps league, are they massive? If you're forming your own opinion fair enough, but if you're regurgitating what Phil Thompson tells you on sky then its a shame you're being brain washed
Libertine Dream Posted 29 February 2012 Posted 29 February 2012 1. Germany-because theyre Germany 2. Argentina- The hand of god and the fact they won't just leave the Falklands alone 3. France- Absolutely hate the French and that muppet Sarkozy. 4. Sweden- Most boring thing on the planet 5. Andorra- What really is the point?
Corky Posted 29 February 2012 Posted 29 February 2012 Ok then, why are they not a massive club then? They've had a history of winning trophies. 18 League titles, 5 European Cups, several FA Cups and 8 League Cups. They also won the Uefa Cup in 2001. Known worldwide. I can't see how they aren't a huge club.
Walker Posted 29 February 2012 Posted 29 February 2012 Got far too much adulation and respect for Fergie to hate Man United. Think what he's done over the years there is remarkable. How he manages to create great teams time and time again is sublime. I could never hate Man United whilst he's in charge.

Coalville Town got to the new Wembley before Liverpool. Granted Liverpool have won all those titles, but how many years ago? My missus' mum may have been fit 20 years ago, but she fkin ain't now! As said above, they won the Champions League in 2005. For the FIFTH time. How many FA Cups, League titles, Carling Cups, Charity Shields etc have they won on top of that? Yeh Ok, a lot of them were 25 years ago plus, but they've won more trophies than most even though they've had a 20 year kip. And even then they've still won a few in that time. For League games at least they sell out a 45K ground. They are still world famous. Like you say, you know plenty of people who 'glory support' them. They haven't finished outside of the top half of the top division for....anyone care to look it up? And they've never played outside the top 2 divisions.

The Year Of The Fox Posted 29 February 2012 Posted 29 February 2012 FIVE times? No the chimps league, once each. Same as Liverpool. (i know football existed before the chimps league) Yeh Leicester had never been out the top two divs til recently. You say they rarely don't fill the ground, I've seen it many a time at less than cpacity

AyewJoking Posted 1 March 2012 Posted 1 March 2012 Dont hate anyone, annoying clubs are: Leeds Liverpool Man Utd Blackburn Wigan

Fjällräven Posted 1 March 2012 Posted 1 March 2012 International clubs and nations: Any providers of theatricals and cheating, especially those who are consistently swarming the ref. 1. Barcelona Needless to say, they are a sublime team in terms of pure footballing skills, surely one of the best, if not the best in the history of the beautiful game. And they do have the third greatest player of all time in their midst. After Zinedine Zidane off course, with Barca-legend Johann Cruyff being number two. But I just can’t stand their attitude. Més que un club? Yes, indeed. An organization of systematized cheating, whinging and all other things that repulse me in the game is what they are. And this becomes completely unbearable because of their nonchalance. Their high horse must be of Shire breed. The tallest in the world that is. 2. Portugal - A team that has taken Barcelona’s ethos on to the international level. Some brilliant players, but even more brilliant cheaters. 3. Any team from the Balkans - Don’t want to sound like a complete bigot here, but knowing several people from these areas, and from watching them play, their culture as a whole pretty much rests on a pillar of cheat and antics. 4. Any team from Africa - Culture relativism does nothing for me. When I see those cringeworthy, buffoonish goal celebrations I just want to go cold turkey on the development funds. Stick your vuvuzuelas where the African sun doesn’t shine. 5. England - For none of the reasons above, but just for being the most diluted nation in the world when it comes down the ability of your own players. NO, you will not win any championships in 2012, or 2014, or 2016, or 2018, or 2020, or 2022. Not only are the players not technically gifted enough, but they constantly have to live with the absurd expectations of the English supporters and media, and they do not have the mentality to cope with both these hindrances at the same time.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 1 March 2012 Posted 1 March 2012 1. Melbourne Heart. (Local poor rivals) 2. Adelaide United (Diluded knobs who make us feel welcome at away games) 3. Sydney F.C (See above, plus there from Sydney) 4. Notts Forrest. 5. Chelsea (too many bandwagon supporters) 1. Uruguay (Stupid fans who spit on you and there players are whinging cheats) 2. England (I'm an Aussie so hate England in all sports ) 3. Ghana (In you face fans, real arrogant in SA 10) 4. Italy (See 2006 WC, especially v Australia) 5. Iran (See 1997 WC qualifier 2 late goals )
Kitchandro Posted 1 March 2012 Posted 1 March 2012 Shit, forgot Portugal. They'd have to be in my top 5. I'll give the jocks a break and take them out.
