ElbertTheFox Posted 25 March 2012 Posted 25 March 2012 before you ask, THIS IS TRUE After the game yesterday, me and my dad fell asleep on the train and missed our stop at Nuneaton, which meant having to go through to Birmingham. We woke up to matt mills walking out the train toilet and sitting down in front of us with liam rosenior of hull! We had a joke and a chat and obviously got a photo as you would do. I asked him what was happening and he said exactly "I asked nigel why I wasn't playing and he told me to **** off." Him and Liam were drinking bottles of desperado's getting ready to go out for the night in Birmingham (he actually told us that). Does he live in Birmingham or something because he had his bag with him? Not really what i'd expect from our club captain and record signing..

ramboacdc Posted 25 March 2012 Posted 25 March 2012 i work with a guy whose son is in the academy (under 17s if memory serves me right) his lad told him matt mills was in the canteen when the academy guys were queuing to get their dinner. The coach told Matt he could skip infront of them. Matt said "nah its alright. These guys have got more chance of getting in the first team than i have" he didnt say how he said it but it does seem light hearted. And the guy who told me has no reason to lie about it so i believe him.

Well of course Mills would oversimplify it, put what Nige said into succinct, foul language and leave out the reason Nige told him he wasn't deserving of a spot. I'll give you some credit and put your gullibility down to the star-struck effect and leave it at that.
