I am Rod Hull Posted 25 March 2012 Posted 25 March 2012 Are there going to be no more trains to Brum ? I think Fox Travel are going to put a midnight boat on. Thank god for the Dudley canal.

Zingari Posted 25 March 2012 Posted 25 March 2012 I think Fox Travel are going to put a midnight boat on. Thank god for the Dudley canal. Sounds very romantic BBQ Would you consider having a candle lit supper with me ? It'll be just like Venice again , Do you remember those heady days ? there might be one for the play-off I thought the government had not only decided to scrap plans for HS2 but was going to allow Brum to become isolated from the rest of the country’s rail system .
I am Rod Hull Posted 25 March 2012 Posted 25 March 2012 Sounds very romantic BBQ Would you consider having a candle lit supper with me ? It'll be just like Venice again , Do you remember those heady days ? If by candle lit you mean dirty and by with me you mean bum sex, then its a yes
Zingari Posted 25 March 2012 Posted 25 March 2012 If by candle lit you mean dirty and by with me you mean bum sex, then its a yes I’ve just remembered , I suffer badly from mal-de-mer even on canals , in fact I was very ill on the Abbey Park boating lake once . I’m sure it would have been lovely though
I am Rod Hull Posted 25 March 2012 Posted 25 March 2012 OMGGZZZ! This could be a Dragons Den winner Football canal tours Most towns are connected by canals yes, so we buy a barge and charge £500 for a cruise to away grounds. Loads of pubs on the tow paths so the punters will be happy. I need to check my lotto numbers from last night though before I commit to the venture, if all is good I`ll make you captain and buy you a nice captains hat with an anchor motif on it in the colour of your choice. Your job will be to pipe everyone aboard, mingle with the punters and invite the posh ones down below for dinner at 10 bells.
Zingari Posted 25 March 2012 Posted 25 March 2012 Great idea but I think it takes about a week to get from Leicester to Manchester by canal BBQ

I am Rod Hull Posted 25 March 2012 Posted 25 March 2012 Great idea but I think it takes about a week to get from Leicester to Manchester by canal BBQ That`s the reason its £500. People want value for money these days and £500 quid for a week of holidayness with a football match at the end of it is very competitive. Zingari!, that sounds like an Italian name! are you Italian? Italian waterway captains are not so popular this season.... *Note to self, may need to ask Webbo to be captain and cut Zingari the wop out*
HEGGSY Posted 25 March 2012 Posted 25 March 2012 BLASPHEMY! I'm sorry. I shall never speak of speedwayson in the same breath as The Great One, again.
Corky Posted 25 March 2012 Posted 25 March 2012 Was this the follow up to "Last train to Transcentral"?

I don’t know anything about it though, I just remember them talking about it when I was a kid . For years I thought it they were calling it the “Easing Gary league” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I_Zingari_League Webbo wouldn’t make a good cruise captain though . He’d want the lower decks fitted out like a trireme rowing vessel with a bloke with a big gong and a whip making sure everyone was roving hard enough .

PS wtf is this thread about?
