Cecchini1976 Posted 26 March 2012 Posted 26 March 2012 Sick to death of all the fans posting saying that we won't make the play offs, be realistic, and countless other comments. But for me part of being a LCFC or any football team fan is That you need to believe your team can beat anybody on a given day, why can't we make the play offs?? Why can't we go on a run?? We are certainly due one.all I'm saying is we might or might not make the play offs, but until it's mathematically impossible I believe. I would hate watching LCFC play week in week out of i never believed
Guest parky0607 Posted 26 March 2012 Posted 26 March 2012 It depends what kind of football you are really. If I was one of those 99p fly away ones, theres not going to be much optimism, however if youre a match ball you could always think "Messi might take me home one day"
sOuThErN_fOx •_• Posted 26 March 2012 Posted 26 March 2012 No, it's part of being a Leicester fan.
Guest Col city fan Posted 26 March 2012 Posted 26 March 2012 If I was one of those orange footballs I'd be optimistic of getting a 'game' when it snows. Then again, it doesn't much these days so I'd rather be a white one I should imagine?
Zingari Posted 26 March 2012 Posted 26 March 2012 The worst part of being a football is that people think they can just kick you around . The best part is when they make you invisible for spot the ball completions , you can have great fun then .
paddy Agyemang Posted 26 March 2012 Posted 26 March 2012 Realistically I wouldn't want to be kicked around for 90mins
GLC Posted 26 March 2012 Posted 26 March 2012 Realistically I wouldn't want to be kicked around for 90mins It could be 120Mins if you go in to extra time and then maybe more if it goes to penalties
Captain... Posted 26 March 2012 Posted 26 March 2012 I think the most important thing is to be full of hot air and yet well rounded, and accept the inevitable kickings that come your way.
Zingari Posted 26 March 2012 Posted 26 March 2012 My worst experience was hurtling into the crossbar at about 90 mph , boy did that hurt . I still get very pumped up before every game though .

My worst feeling was a forced substitution, by the ref, when he and the rest of the players all knew I just wasn't up to the job, it was a very deflating experience.

Perhaps there were a few occasions when they couldn’t decide if you had crossed the line or not . Have you ever been chipped or sliced ? Some players can be very cruel to us . And it’s very embarrassing when some wag thinks he’s being funny by shoving me up his shirt and waddling around pretending to be pregnant .
Jace Posted 26 March 2012 Posted 26 March 2012 I am sick to death of silly threads like footballs being optimistic how can a football be optimistic? If Leicester fans with brains cannot be optimistic then how can a football without 1?
GLC Posted 26 March 2012 Posted 26 March 2012 Sometimes when i get kicked, i feel an odd sensation like i'm flying. Also i was once kicked in to a river, it was very wet and i didn't get stopped for hours
davieG Posted 26 March 2012 Posted 26 March 2012 Once I was a proud young thing But now I just feel let down, out of date and neglected.
StanSP Posted 26 March 2012 Posted 26 March 2012 I hate it when players feel the need to put me under their shirts to dry me for throw-ins. What's to be optimistic about that?! People talk about me behind my back, as well. Movement in the air etc. They think I can't hear them. I can. What else am I meant to do? Freeze mid-air and let someone kick me even more?!
Zingari Posted 26 March 2012 Posted 26 March 2012 it's not all work work work though , there are some good days i'm just heading of to the bar now

NeilyBoy Posted 26 March 2012 Posted 26 March 2012 What's to be optimistic about when there's a global industry dedicated to providing the optimal equipment to kick you with?
