Kasper - 6

Pelts & Konch - 5 - Just average, didn't offer much going forward

Morgan & SSL - 7 - Standard

Drink - 6 - ok, still to find the form of when Barnsley thrashed us 2-1

Bamba - 5 - Not a midfield (or a defender) then

Dyer - 7 - MotM our only threat

Marshall - 6 - Good 1st half, weak 2nd

Nugent - 4 - Lost out there

Beckford - 5 - It didn't work for him

NP - Played the creative formation which comfortably beat Hull but couldn't get past Forest's bus

I agree with this, except Bamba,he gets a 6. I thought Konchesky's distribution and passing choices were poor tonight.

I felt really sorry for Nugent, our most consistent attacking threat this season. He was asked to "do a job" because he is industrious and it

left the team misshapen and ilbalanced. He did it ok but a waste to have him there. I'd rather it was Schlupp in that role (our Daniel Sturridge) or just for 442 or 4312 if you want Marshall in the hole. He must have been double gutted we went to 442 right when Schlupp came on.

You are kidding..

Beckfords was a fookin shot mate!

It should have been a cross but wasn't.

You are trying to defend the indefensible here and looking a plonker.

No offence.

lol

no I meant he meant to shoot across goal, was it that hard to work that out?

Ah I see.

He shouldn't have just thrashed out at it though should he?

He should have looked up and calmly out the ball across the goal, having lots of times to do so.

If that was a 'shot across goal' it was a terrible one!

It ended up missing the 'near post'!

lol

which is why I said he "sliced it badly" a 1st time shot in that situation can catch the keeper off guard and cause him to spill the ball, should he save it to begin with, giving someone else a tap in.

Fair enough mate.

Yes he did...

Watched Thai TV on t'internet - so not influenced by commentators or moaning gits around me at the KP - I reckoned most of them get a 6.5, with the following exceptions. Beckford, poor. He's better than he showed last night, that 'shot' late on was a joke. Mind you, his pass to Dyer in the first half was sublime. Dyer carried our only real threat, and when Lloyd bless him is your best attacker, you know you're in shittenstrausse! Nugent looked knackered from the start. Marshall was brilliant, as was his chant. Faded in the second half though, just like his chant (was Jobber substituted at half time?). Star man for me was Sol Sol Bamba. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry at him most of the time, but those two tackles to win the ball in the first half, which set up Beckfords pass to Dyer, showed more desire than I've seen in a long time. Yes, he has his faults, but he played with PASSHUN last night, and a big smile on his face. Love him, could be our Kolo Toure - or is it Yaya Toure? Y'know, the guy in midfield for the blue Mancs. Nige needs to get hold of Sol, tell him he's employed by LCFC, and if Nige says play in midfield, you play in midfiled.

Schmeichel 7 - Little to do but ok when called upon. Kicking is still dodgy in my opinion.

Peltier 7

Morgan 7 - Solid.

St. Ledger 7

Konchesky 7

Marshall 7 - Threat throughout. Tired towards the end.

Bamba 8 - Apart from a couple of dodgy passes, all round he was excellent and got my man of the match.

Drinkwater 6 - Not good enough yesterday.

Dyer 6

Nugent 6 - Out of position, but tried his best as always. Unlucky to be subbed.

Beckford 6
