Started today, anyone watching?

One of my favourite sporting events, get home from work(I'm home a bit early today) and watch the run chase. Great entertainment.

Love it. And from a fans point of view, I love how long the tournament is.

Matches everyday for a good couple of weeks, plenty of entertaining cricket and big-hitting to watch, plenty of pretty cheerleaders on show. Shame I've missed today's match and will miss tomorrow's thanks to work. Friday is first day off work for a week so will be sitting back and relaxing watching IPL that day.

I'm supporting Mumbai and Chennai (Mumbai predominantly) though :D.

I watch it when it's on and i'm home which isn't often as time difference is a killer. Do say to myself each year i'm going to follow it but never really do.

That Pathan is a batsman and a half. I think I may make the Delhi Daredevils my team.

The problem with the IPL is that each team has at least 2 players on it I don't like from the international scene, (normally Aussies) I think I will throw may support behind India Pune Warriors and Luke Wright flying the English flag, are there any other English cricketers, I know KP and Morgan are there but they aren't English.

The earlier match between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore was a joy to behold.

It really was what IPL is all about - big hitting, emphasised by the fact that there were a record amount of sixes hit in one IPL match - 22 I think. Chris Gayle started it all off and led Bangalore on the way to 206, but then Dhoni and Morkel led the fightback for Chennai. 2 of the sixes were hit out of the ground.

It was just an incredible match to watch. Sensational.

Owais Shah? He's not English much either :P.

Mascharenhas and Azhar Mahmood are on Kings XI Punjab's books, again not English much!

Paul Collingwood on Rajasthan Royals' roster.

I saw Chris Gayle hit 5 consecutive 6s on Tuesday night but had to leave the house to get to the football. Does anyone know how the match ended.

I think this has been the best tournament so far, and I reckon it can only get better. Been fantastic to watch so far. Tendulkar's back on Sunday!

Pietersen was immense in the early game today - he hit 9 6's in his first T20 century. Joy to watch.

Yeah, RCB won by 6 wickets. Chris Gayle ended on 81 off 48.

Watched a bit of De Villiers the other day which was quite entertaining, likewise with Gayle. I can't watch too much though otherwise I just get too annoyed by the whole unnecessary gimmickry of the thing. I do enjoy T20 but it just takes the piss a little bit.

Heard one commentator say "he's hit that outta the ballpark" the other day. It's called a cricket ground you bellend.

Kings XI Punjab (163-6 in 20 overs) to Royal Challengers Bangalore today (166-5 in 19.3 overs)- cracking game Chris Gayle MOTM for his 87 off 56 balls, really good tournament so far.

I watch the majority of matches up until the final, then I miss the big one due to work!

Well done, KKR, though. Very happy for Gambhir. Did they do all the awards after the match?
