eaststandtom Posted 14 April 2012 Posted 14 April 2012 players, i would like to think would feature heavily next season in the squad would be king, nugent, marshall, drinkwater, and kasher. thats about it. we need a stable centre back pairing. all are decent but thats it. and is it me or are all the goals conceded from mistakes on the left hand side of the defence

halferowley2 Posted 14 April 2012 Posted 14 April 2012 Surely we dont need massive changes we had that this season and all I heard was it takes time for new players to gel. Get rid of a couple of the senior players and bring in some younger keen players - trust Pearson to find some.

Today he scored his 13th and 14th goal of the season from central midfield today and he is only 18 years old, the only place that the lad is going to is a premier league club, not a mid table championship club that can't even manage 3 wins on the bounce. We would have to pay over the odds to sign him, not that he'd sign as he must be well aware of teams like Arsenal and Chelsea being interested in him and he will most likely have to be loaned straight back to Crewe as part of the deal.

Callabinho Posted 15 April 2012 Posted 15 April 2012 I don't know what to suggest, we will need to strengthen considerably in some area's as the potential 3 teams coming down are stronger than last seasons, to be honest I think this league has been a very poor standard this year, I don't even think Reading are a particularly good side after watching a few of their games. We need an all round quality midfielder who can play a killer pass, and turn up every week.
