Danno Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 With the money he is on I'm surprised he doesn't just offer to buy Leeds off Ken Bates lol
Babylon Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 So Kasper wins both awards and nobody praises Mike Stowell. Yet when a keeper has a bad patch he gets ripped a new one on here for being a shit coach!!!!!
James. Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 'Manager Of The Season' award ??? Only at Leicester Exactly what I thought although at least there were only 2 nominations this year.
Poakey Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 Exactly what I thought although at least there were only 2 nominations this year. Who won it?
MattyFromLE Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 So Kasper wins both awards and nobody praises Mike Stowell. Yet when a keeper has a bad patch he gets ripped a new one on here for being a shit coach!!!!! This is true. I am pretty sure also, that Kasper has said that he works really well with the coaching staff. Like a manager, a goalkeeper coach can advise him on the training ground, but come match day all decision making is down to Kasper, who 95% of the time gets it spot on.
Mack Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 It speaks volumes about our defence that our keeper won player of the season. Well deserved however, lets hope he has a lot less to do next season.

In the 2010-11 season, QPR had the best defensive record in the division, with Paddy Kenny winning player of the season.

Corky Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 Beckford didn't turn up at the ceremony. Read into that what you like... He couldn't get there. Doesn't move more than 10 yards at a time.
Fox92 Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 Agree with all of the awards execpt for goal of the season. Marshall's goal against Chelsea was great but Gally vs Palace was a worldclass strike. The best goal scored by a Leicester player since Nalis in 2003 I reckon. Gillespie (v West Ham) was better, in my opinion. Very good goal that hardly gets a mention.
Babylon Posted 3 May 2012 Posted 3 May 2012 So Kasper wins both awards and nobody praises Mike Stowell. Yet when a keeper has a bad patch he gets ripped a new one on here for being a shit coach!!!!! This is now quite funny considering the Stowell thread that has popped up. Booo Stowell, Boooo it's all your fault. Bring back Chrissy P and sack Stowell even though not one person knows what they do or how good they are at it, booooo.

Jace Posted 3 May 2012 Author Posted 3 May 2012 On a serious note if Matt Mills was made to attend surely Beckford would of been the same so if he didn't attend is would possibly be for a genuine reason than personal choice maybe? Anybody know any more?
