MikeyT Posted 15 May 2012 Posted 15 May 2012 I don't know If I'm the only one seeing this, but very often I keep seeing a user named "Facebook" in threads on here, but unlike every other user, their name is in grey and can't be clicked on. Who are they? Please tell me I'm not the only one seeing this? Here is my proof.

JadeFalcon Posted 15 May 2012 Posted 15 May 2012 can confirm i saw this yesterday and this morning, this is why i dont trust facebook and never stay logged into it, that little F icon is doing alot more than people actually think it is, and no i'm not being a conspiracy theorist here all you have to do is look at the shear amount of code just for that 1 like button alone to see its calling up java scripts etc etc i NEVER stay logged into facebook and i always have cookies set to per session so all my cookies disappear when browser is closed.. aint tracking me for shit why do you think facebook has the value it does... because its a datamine of peoples likes and dislikes and daily habbits of probably half the damned planet.. its an advertisers dream

But it's only recently it's showing up on here and I've been using Chrome for ages.

But it's only recently it's showing up on here and I've been using Chrome for ages. have you blocked all trackers by using that little eye symbol in the top rh corner ? you'll still see facebook at the bottom but in grey edit i think you must already have blocked all trackers because you said it was grey , sorry
Darkon84 Posted 15 May 2012 Posted 15 May 2012 I've seen it too, in fact its at the bottom right now . I'm using IE9 if that makes a difference? Have also seen 'Google' at the bottom in grey too. Strange stuff
