Libertine Dream Posted 28 May 2012 Posted 28 May 2012 I don't understand how teams can buy players without having a manager. I know the lads meant to be special but surely the manager knows the players he wants and Hazard might not be part of that plan. Unless Di Matteo has already been appointed really. Perhaps because the lads a bit special its a given amy manager would want him anyway so it doesnt really matter, suppose its another advantage of being a big team with a lot of money.

I guess they had to act now otherwise he was heading to Manchester, having him available might also entice any prospective managerial targets. Maybe Pep's a big fan

Abramovic has been making the signings... He signed Marko Marin and Kevin De Bryune so far and this was without a manager..
21st Century Fox Posted 29 May 2012 Posted 29 May 2012 Ok British press, let the character assassination begin... oh you already did. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/why-chelsea-could-regret-eden-hazard-851748

1884Fox Posted 29 May 2012 Author Posted 29 May 2012 By the way sorry about putting up this thread a while after he said it I had only just noticed it and I realised that there wasn't a thread so I just felt like starting one
One Arm Babba Posted 29 May 2012 Posted 29 May 2012 He's got a lot to live up to with all the hype and unnecessary attention he brought on himself with his drawn out decision. He looks a great player in France, but will he make it in the premier league?
Leicester_Numan Posted 29 May 2012 Posted 29 May 2012 Read a good tweet yesterday. It said he failed the medical at Chelsea as his head was too big to fit through the door

This is exactly what I was thinking, not just with Hazard, but with a player they agreed to sign a few weeks back; Marin. It must be Roman pushing them through, because why would Di Matteo agree to sign players if he wasn't to get the Chelsea job. Also, what if the new manager comes in and doesn't even like/want these players? Best of luck to Hazard though. Everyone makes him out to be special, and I haven't seen much of him because I don't watch European Football that much. I wouldn't pick Chelsea over Manchester United though.
GianEmmo Zola Posted 30 May 2012 Posted 30 May 2012 Im going to hazard a guess and say hell be a good signing..
Darkon84 Posted 30 May 2012 Posted 30 May 2012 As good as the guy is, he has ALOT to live up to, after the way he and (more than likely) his agent have conducted this whole thing. Im sure Im not the only one that just thinks hes a complete twat now. Hopefully Chelsea get Stoke away on the opening day and he gets a rude awakening.
21st Century Fox Posted 30 May 2012 Posted 30 May 2012 Ahhhhhh the life of a footballer. Hazard gets fined a bottle of champagne for missing team bus. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/may/29/eden-hazard-belgium-euro-2012-chelsea

Whats wrong with the way he has conducted himself? He's took his time in deciding which club will be the best to progress his career. If it's about money I'm sure Man City would have been offering more.

If I were a full fan of Chelsea I would really be wondering if he wanted to play for my team

If I were a full fan of Chelsea I would really be wondering if he wanted to play for my team Want to play for your team? The only reason 95% of players want to play for a team is because they've offered the highest wages. Once a players' at a club, granted they might develop some attachment but there's little reason to want to play for a team other than money and chance of success, the same as any normal job. On that note, Chelsea have won the Champion's league so that's the other reason he wants to be there. What do you want from him? To admit he's been a Chelsea fan since he was a kid?

Well, No, Ive not said he should do any of that Im saying he, and/or his agent should conduct business in a confidential and respectful manner . I know players can move from club to club without much bother, but some of the fans of the clubs would've seen his 20 tweets about looking forward to playing for a Marchester club, and then hes suddenly changed his ideas again. Its very uncommon for players to do this sort of things regarding their transfer business, and I think there are good reasons why they dont
Milton Keynes Fox Posted 31 May 2012 Posted 31 May 2012 Everyone knows Ambramovic deals with transfers at Chelsea, even with no manager
