We built an empire drinking tea.

We lost that empire at about the time that 'Mellow Birds' became available in shops.

The winter of discontent was caused by Gareth Hunt, magicking the Nescafe beans.

Anyone else notice that Al Qaeda's rise to prominence coincided with the advent of Freeze dried Kenko?

So you are saying that Al Qaeda could be th PG tips monkees. Ummm (strokes chin) interesting thought process...

Normal tea makes me very sick for some reason and I haven't had a cup since childhood so is green tea the same flavour ?

I've heard its good for weight loss, and I could do with losing few pounds.

Nah, very different flavour, it's a weird taste. I usually drink 1-3 cups a day.

That Japanese green tea with the roasted rice in it is very nice. They call it "popcorn tea" or Genmaicha. The rice gives it a bit more flavour.

I'm going to stick my neck out - I love ice tea. And with this weather we're having, necking a litre of lemon or peach ice tea is a fantastic sensation, shame it's so hard to find these days.

As for actual tea, I like it but hardly ever drink it. I supposedly make a good cuppa though.

If the dentist tells you to give it up, might I suggest just adding a teaspoon of bleach in every cup to counter any staining that may occur?

Tea is far too scented for me. Which is surprising because I love sweet drinks and have tatse buds that actually work.

I drink a lot of freshly ground coffee from different countries depending on my mood.

The rest of my family love tea.

My oldest son is an Earl Grey freak at the moment.

I like it. Sort of oaty with a bit of texture. And it smells great.

Apparently it was the traditional drink of "poor Japanese" and people that were fasting
