FootballLad Posted 28 July 2012 Posted 28 July 2012 As part of the up and coming Football League season and part of our FL72 project we are picking one player from each teeam to review and just say this kid is worth watching. For Leicester City my colleague chose Ben Marshall, you can read his article - http://www.football-lad.com/one-to-watch-ben-marshall/ - there. On him, his performance against Hull City was brilliant and just showed what a player can do when he just takes on defenders and looks to get to the by line. The key with him though is that he can beat his man on the inside or outside, which really makes him a great player. If you want me to stop posting links etc.... Feel free, just thought you might want to read!
LeicesterAreGoingUp Posted 28 July 2012 Posted 28 July 2012 great choice ... 'He only scores 25 yarders'
kingfox Posted 28 July 2012 Posted 28 July 2012 Good choice, very good talent and could have a massive part in our season, just hoping we see more of him in a central role this season though, he made me drool with his performances in attacking midfield last season. Also look out for Liam Moore, could make a breakthrough this season.
Fox42 Posted 28 July 2012 Posted 28 July 2012 Ooooooooohh Ooooooooohh Ooooooooohh Ooooooooohh Na na na na na na BEN MARSHALL Na na na na na na BEN MARSHALL Ooooooooohh BEN MARSHALL Ooooooooohh BEN MARSHALL

dog_4 Posted 28 July 2012 Posted 28 July 2012 only two footed english footballer i can think off! Ben Marshall! scores corkers and full of assists! how can someone like james milner go to the euro's and he couldn't! while marshall scores quality goals, milner was sat on the bench at man city for 9 months

Corky Posted 28 July 2012 Posted 28 July 2012 It was more the belief that he should go to the Euros after half a season in the Championship, whilst Milner, who'd played for the English champions, should be left out for him.
Raw Dykes Posted 28 July 2012 Posted 28 July 2012 who's two footed? Every normal person on this planet. Political correctness gone mad.
Danno Posted 28 July 2012 Posted 28 July 2012 who's two footed? I think pretty much every attacking player in the England team is to be honest.
deep blue Posted 28 July 2012 Posted 28 July 2012 It was more the belief that he should go to the Euros after half a season in the Championship, whilst Milner, who'd played for the English champions, should be left out for him. He couldn't have been any less effective than Milner (who I normally rate, but had a v poor tournament).
Corky Posted 28 July 2012 Posted 28 July 2012 He couldn't have been any less effective than Milner (who I normally rate, but had a v poor tournament). He was asked to play in a more defensive role than a winger normally would, so we didn't see the best of him attacking wise.
Danno Posted 28 July 2012 Posted 28 July 2012 Oh dear, he's just an average championship winger and people are saying they'd prefer him to Milner in the England team. Have a word.
FootballLad Posted 28 July 2012 Author Posted 28 July 2012 Oh dear, he's just an average championship winger and people are saying they'd prefer him to Milner in the England team. Have a word. Milner has played on the wing once for Manchester City in the past two and half years, if Man City need a winger they play Adam Johnson, so why on earth would you choose Milner then? Defies all logic..... Mind you i would choose Milner over marshall.
heskeyisabeast Posted 28 July 2012 Posted 28 July 2012 He will never be near the level of the england squad

And some idiot said he'd offer more to England than milner would.
