Easy, it's because he's prob the last City player I can remember who occassionally thought "wow, that was pretty good". Can't say I have ever thought that of any of our current crop. Probably because he had a personality, and as much as you wanted to tear off your own face sometimes when he had the ball, he was actually pretty fun to watch with his Cruyff turns etc. Dont think it's necessarily down to ability because I rate our CBs now higher.
