85 city shirt

Someone just sold a 85 city shirt (the pinstripe one) for £212.

If you have any gathering dust somewhere get them on Ebay! Or let me know cause I'm after one for my own collection.

They sell them in the club shop ,for 35 quid. They're got the home and away shirt and they're made by admiral.

The ones in the club shop look different to the ones made in 80s from what i've seen on the club website

I've got an original here in Sydney. In good condition too.

Would be loathe to sell it though.....sorry! It's a classic and one of the few Leicester shirts I've ever owned.

I got a player worn green pinstripe off fleabay a few years ago for £75.

Never wore it - more for nostalgia.

Numbers are in cloth.

"Possibly match worn"...oh yeah, because that is just a minor detail...makes no difference! Wouldn't bid on it myself, spelling on the advert is poor, whole thing looks iffy.

The guy selling the shirt has the unit next to my dad and I've seen it and it looks 100% genuine. If I had the money I'd definitely bid on it!

Having seen that 79-83 red shirt going for silly money, i'm thinking of putting mine on ebay too

its a long sleeve version that was match worn by John O'Neill. The number 5 is stitched on the back

and it has the stitched logo's that the commercially available ones didnt (like the one on ebay now)

I brought it from another city fan who got it from a former city kit man

Its pretty small probably a 36" chest, its tight on me and im around a 38" chest

if anyone is interested PM me, i might also put a picture on here if there is any interest

i'd prefer it to go to another city fan who will appriciate it, so i thought it was worth a mention on here

If i remember correctly its a medium in the label

so its contracted a bit in 30 years!!
