I'm happy with it. Just the floor some painting and some electrics to do. Finished quicker than I thought. I was told a fortnight. I just let them get on with it and went out. Just hope I can keep it looking like that.

Yes but never got round to getting one. The kitchen isn't that wide an half of it had other stuff on the floor. It also filled a gap where a cooker used to be. I may put my fridge freezer there or see if they have a table in the shop I work. Can't afford too much..

Also told yester day the waste pipe/hose from my washing machine was missing an attachment. Don't know what they meant but it has never been right. If I put it on a hotter cycle it doesn't empty right and overflows. Not had a chance really to have it checked or replaced with being on long shifts then short of cash. I'll get tound to doing it soon.

Yes it would be easier. Hope the workmen move it. I was told they would. Doesn't go with the rest of the kitchen now.

The floor's being done now.

The deep freezer has gone. Just the electric an washing machine to be plumbed in to be done. Although there is no electrician and I have to go out soon. There is a covering of snow so if he's coming from a few miles away he might not turn up.

I thought a fan was being put on the wall There is a place for one and a fuse switch on the wall. Somebody may turn up Monday but I've started to move stuff back and put things in cupboards. Not messed it up yet.

Think it is but can't see where to fit it. Can't see the outlet pipe. The cupboard floor is in the way. There is nothing on the hose to fix it on.

I'm no expert but I would imagine, as is the case with washing machines I've had, that it either goes next to the sink and there is a spur off the U-bend from the sink which the hose fits onto, or there is a seperate drain with a pipe from the wall (if it's an outside wall) or through the floor if you're in an upper floor flat and the drainage hose is fitted into the outlet pipe.

Yes. I had problems with it before though. Occasionally during the rinsing cycle more water went in but was not pumped out. This happened mainly on the hotter temperature which I hardly used. I could only use the cool and quick wash. My kitchen was flooded more than once.as water came out the top.

I'll have another look but am wary about trying it out. I will have to call my housing and see if they can get someone out.

When we were discussing the kitchen the rep asked if I needed help with a new one. I believe they distribute and help tenants that have been housed with household appliances. They would only be second hand ones and I was thinking about getting another but cannot afford one right now. The BHF shop does them for around £160 but if I can get a free one that will be better.

The housing association rehouses tenants that have had problems in the past. I was one of the first to move in and at the time they housed ordanary people too so I have never sought help from support workers. Maybe it's about time I did.

The washing machine is in the gap in the picture.

Look very similar to my kitchen, apart from the handles. I'm in a new build flat, so maybe there's been a job lot of this stuff going in the Leicestershire area over the last year or so.

Our housing association has had quite a few done. I asked the electrician why they use out of town contractors and he said he could be anywhere any day as it is a regular customer. The Housing Association head office is Whitney Oxfordshire so they have property all over.
