Mike the Metal Ed Posted 10 December 2013 Posted 10 December 2013 Bump. Wm 31 not held here then They never will. There's little point running a midnight - 4AM show at Wembley and a taped show in the Internet era would kill the buyrate. Best we can hope for is for them to run a stadium show in between Money in the Bank and Summerslam or something. Always scores a low buyrate, best chance of decent weather in this country and gets us title matches again like we used to have when Insurrextion and Rebellion ran. (By which I mean, hold MITB in June, then replace Payback with a UK show, and then Summerslam. The last thing WWE need is yet another new PPV.)
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 10 December 2013 Posted 10 December 2013 I actually like Bad News Barrett . I wish he was doing something more substantial though.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 10 December 2013 Posted 10 December 2013 It made me laugh, but it's nothing but a midcarder gimmick which is a shame. I haven't watched the slammys and I'll probably avoid .
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 11 December 2013 Posted 11 December 2013 Hope Wade can eventually return to the great heel he was a few years ago. Laughable now yet he has a lot of talent and Mic skills. Like to see him get a push again soon
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 11 December 2013 Posted 11 December 2013 His feud with Orton to end 2011 looked like it was going to push him to the stars again, then it just stopped. He needed a reboot to be a serious force again. The bareknuckle boxer wasn't it, and neither is this.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 11 December 2013 Posted 11 December 2013 Ended up watching RAW in the end, the show was meh but the ending segment was very good actually. Cena is great when he's like that.
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 11 December 2013 Posted 11 December 2013 I loved the crowd and ending! Decent Raw, could see them getting annoyed with all the attention Bryan got! I actually like Bad News Barrett . I wish he was doing something more substantial though. Sadly with the unification happening, I can only see him being a mid-card. Probably be released eventually
The Horse's Mouth Posted 11 December 2013 Posted 11 December 2013 Did anyone notice that the only people left standing were the authorities and Cena?
Libertine Posted 11 December 2013 Posted 11 December 2013 Teasing another Cena heel turn which will never happen. Quite excited for this match. About time the unification happened. Really not sure what's going to happen, which always makes for a good match.

BigAL88 Posted 11 December 2013 Posted 11 December 2013 i think they will end up grabbing each others titles and then this will drag out to WM
The Horse's Mouth Posted 11 December 2013 Posted 11 December 2013 Probably, there is no way the belts will actually get unified on TLC.
Libertine Posted 11 December 2013 Posted 11 December 2013 Not really... We'll see. Plenty people took it that way with him standing with the corp at the end. It's designed to get people talking about it (again) only for it never to happen.
Uncle Albert Posted 12 December 2013 Author Posted 12 December 2013 We'll see. Plenty people took it that way with him standing with the corp at the end. It's designed to get people talking about it (again) only for it never to happen. Exactly, spot on. No chance will this be a clean ending on Sunday night, well I can't see that happening anyway. Not at TLC anyway. I really enjoyed the end segment on Raw, loved the crowd getting their point across about Daniel Bryan and Cena fed off of that perfectly! The amount of smirks from all the other superstars was a picture when HHH couldn't speak over the crowd. I can see a bit of a screwjob on Sunday and maybe it's my imagination going into over drive but I can see HHH getting involved and climbing the ladders himself and taking the titles.. Stephanie has been talking about him being the 'greatest' WWE/Heavyweight Champion a few times recently. Then HHH v the Royal Rumble winner (Daniel Bryan) at WrestleMania!
HEGGSY Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 CM Punks facepalm and laugh when Stephanie said HHH was one of the greatest champions when's brilliant
The Horse's Mouth Posted 12 December 2013 Posted 12 December 2013 I must say, that segment has got me in the mood for watching TLC. However I feel like we're going to get a proper shitty finish. It kinda feels like Punk and Ryback last year where you wondered how they would do it but then just did something shitty.
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 13 December 2013 Posted 13 December 2013 Just thought i'd ask...me and 2 others going wwe in London, anyone got any hotel recommendations nearby the o2?

Would be great. Think it'll be Punk v HHH though. Really can't predict what the title match could be. Possibly a triple threat? Cena/Orton/Bryan? Better than last year anyway, was way too predictable.

If you want cheap as possible book the travelodge in either Docklands or Excel Centre usually I get a room for £25. The Docklands 1 is slightly closer and more fans whereas the Excel centre is a couple of minutes further away on the DLR but is much nicer

Stayed there for Raw and Smackdown in 2009 when the nearest Premier Inn wanted £100.

I got my room for £19 per night when I was there. Also I wouldn't pay for the breakfast when there's a McDonalds not far up the road and some greasy spoons in nearby Canning Town.

It's all you can eat though Might not bother for breakfast and just see on the day, £92 for 2 nights, split that between 3! Class
