True that manwell, seemed more edgy and exciting. The crowds in 97 98 99 where just a million times better. I think these days you just get marks like Albert and young children like kingfox. Who buy into their rubbish storylines and rubbish characters eg Cena, Bray Waytt , the miz ...

They will never change it because the above morons I mentioned, buy into that crap.

How much Bray Wyatt have you watched, incidentally?

I'm not that excited for the UK launch of WWE Network. Sky will make sure there'll be no Raw, Smackdown, NXT or Superstars replays and of course no pay per views. We'll get the full tape library if we're lucky and it'll cost the same if not more than Americans pay.

So obviously I'll subscribe to that and use a VPN to get the full service.

Or I'm just a fan and don't base WWE all around the Attitude Era..

Nope you're a massive mark. Every Raw for you is unbelievable and you rate boring wrestlers and make out, that the storylines are actually interesting. Vince loves fans like you, because know matter how crap it gets. Sheep like you, will always tune in and watch your hero John Cena and stay in on a friday night to watch the amazing Smackdown.

No one in this thread has earnt my respect because you're all marks and don't know anything about pro wrestling.

I never see eye to eye with Uncle Albert but I'm gonna back him up here, just because he's enjoying it for what it is rather than living in the past doesn't make him a mark, you sound like one of them people that says your a wrestling fan but just criticises everything because it's the cool thing to do on the internet.

It's fine Hugo bought into all of the Attitude Era storyline, he believed Mae Young actually gave birth to a hand and Val Venis having his nob cut off by some mad Japanese bloke.

I loved the Attitude Era, that's where wrestling started for me, never took WWF/WWE for anything more than a TV show, not interested in any other Wrestling companies, shows or anything, I watch wrestling for the idea that it is broadcasted, entertainment, nothing more nothing less. Times have moved on from the Attitude Era, shame others cant move past it.

Funny how Hugo also says he doesn't by into the current style of WWE but he has always been vocal throughout this thread about current storylines and the goings on..

You stick to watching wrestling on your computer and noshing one out over Colt Cabana doing a perfect suplex in Ring of Honour.

Anyway back to wrestling, Rowdy Roddy Piper wants to face Hogan at Wrestlemania ... Either in a tag or one on one. Can't see a one on one happening. Piper was finished in around 1990. Hogan apparently wouldn't pass a medical, which is a shame. 30th anniversary and they're no marquee matches really. Please don't say Lesner vs Batista.

Obviously Austin isn't gonna wrestle, which is a shame because I believe for the right storyline he would. Sting vs Taker won't happen because sting is a douche bag. Who wrestles for a little indy promotion in florida. Never a legend in my eyes because he's never been in the big leagues.

Seriously? you claim to know a lot and you come out with stuff like that?

You do know WCW Hammered WWF if the states rating-wise from mid 1996 to early 1998,  and Sting was one of their biggest pulls?
