Guest ttfn Posted 2 March 2013 Posted 2 March 2013 No Knockaert at Huddersfield. You've got to laugh.
davieG Posted 2 March 2013 Posted 2 March 2013 Which year? 2012, what's the point or did they mean this season in which case why can't they wait until the season's over.
foxfanazer Posted 2 March 2013 Posted 2 March 2013 That's a joke that neither of Knockaert's are there
davieG Posted 2 March 2013 Posted 2 March 2013 Think it's 2012. They do one every year. So what's the point when it covers parts of 2 seasons.
Jimothy Posted 2 March 2013 Posted 2 March 2013 So what's the point when it covers parts of 2 seasons. I have no idea. They should do one for each season rather than year. Don't really understand it to be honest, they wouldn't name a player of the year over a calender year would they.
Dan Posted 2 March 2013 Posted 2 March 2013 What goals are there? That's a farce, that really is. However, I still think the one at home to them was slightly better personally, one of the best individual goals I've ever seen.
NewburyFox Posted 2 March 2013 Posted 2 March 2013 I think Knockaert's second away at Huddersfield was probably an own goal, in which case it shouldn't be in there. As for his second at home to Hudders, that was brilliant but I'm sure there's been 10 better goals than that from around the world.

Jimothy Posted 2 March 2013 Posted 2 March 2013 Yeah, they do Really?!?! How do they work that one out?
AKCJ Posted 2 March 2013 Posted 2 March 2013 Really?!?! How do they work that one out? The Ballon D'or. Footballer of the year. Not every season is played alongside the same time.
Jimothy Posted 2 March 2013 Posted 2 March 2013 The Ballon D'or. Footballer of the year. Not every season is played alongside the same time. I didn't mean that. This is a goal competition specifically for the Football League. Player come and go from the League, they get promoted or relegated out of it or into it etc, so wouldn't really work having a player award over a calender year specifically for the Football League. In most years the best players will move up a division halfway through the time period the award is relating too.
