SSL talks about Ireland, Leicester and the injury

He doesn't talk about Leicester at all...

the football club have been fantastic with me, from the physio, the manager, the fitness coach. It’s a real good club and if I was low, the manager put his arm around me and tried to cheer me up. It was good.

“I hated being injured, don’t get me wrong, but I have a lot to thank Leicester for.”

Ok so he mentions Leicester, but its hardly in-depth. Sean would have done well to explain a bit earlier that all the travelling he was doing while injured was in aid of the injury, as to me at the time reading his tweets he just seemed like a big-time Charlie d*ckhead roaming around living the high life, and not making any effort to get fit.

Actually I'd say the jury is still out for me on SSL as a squad member, never appears to care that much, has a big-time Charlie attitude, and puts in shocking performances from time to time. He was absolutely woeful against Derby, but I admit you can't single him out on that one.

Why? The article is about being back on the international scene with a bit of light-hearted look at celebrating Trap's birthday? It's not directed towards the troubles he went through for the past 5 months.

That's just your judgement of him - maybe he just likes to live and laugh? How do you know he wasn't making every effort to get fit? I'd say travelling to Germany to see one of the world's best physios is a pretty good effort...

Everyone puts in shocking performances time to time, especially in this squad!

Why what? The OP said SSL talks Ireland, Leicester and the injury, so forgive me for thinking that there might have been more than two lines about Leicester.

Well that's exactly it, none of us knew what kind of effort he was making to get fit, so during the injury when he was tweeting about getting the beers in in Munich, or lapping it up in LA, it just would have been more helpful to clarify that he was there, at least in part, in an effort to help with the injury. Then, we would have had some idea of the effort he was making to get fit, instead of it seeming that he wasn't making any.
