Steven Posted 5 May 2013 Posted 5 May 2013 Thanks for the horse cards. The nurses were 'Ooing and 'aaahing'. A very nice gesture by alll and a wonderful surprise that cheered me up. So you didn't like my flower field card then.

DNO has a four hour slot on Panj pani radio from 12-4pm. At the moment it's only available on the internet until we get used to it and improve. There is is a section ocalled Frog Island Discs. A take off of Desert Island Discs. Then there is discussion of local and National news regarding social issues. We also intend having guests in to interview. I will be in there somewhere with a poetry corner type slot. This weeks poem will probably be Deirdre Blues as I am going through my book. Eventually I hope to have poetry from residents of hostels. I think the site is www.panjpaniradio.org.uk but if you go to the Facebook page of Down Not Out there is a link to the radio station. As it is on Thursday I will attempt to give a mention for City and this forum.
