Guest Posted 2 May 2013 Posted 2 May 2013 Talking of lots of people, when Ive been to Vendee " puy du fou" rates highly for an entertaining day out.Really enjoyed it,very well done indeed. If anyone is in Vendee France it's well worth a day out.(awaits FIF to tell me its the worst day of his life) Ps FIF look at the cheese thread.Need your help yet again! Puy du Fou is a fantastic "event". I once smiled and said "hi" to this girl I used to pass about twice a week at the exact same spot on the path next to the river opposite castle park. We'd made eye contact a few times previously, she was pretty hot but not in an obvious way. It was like she didn't realise she was hot. So one day I smiled and said hi and she smiled and said hi back. It was a really wide, happy smile and in the brief second we held eye contact I could see her pupils were dilated (maybe she was on smack). We both slowed a little as if to hint at further conversation but in the end none of us stopped. A few seconds after passing I looked back, and then half a second later she looked back too, and we exchanged another smile. It was beautiful. But I never saw her again after that. Moral of the story: don't bother with those familiar stranger cvnts, it only ends in tears. I heard about her I think she jumped into the canal and committed suicide after seeing your lecherous intent.

whoareyaaa Posted 2 May 2013 Posted 2 May 2013 Wandering around Beijing and Shanghai for a week must have given me lead over most. this, just go to the train station will do it... there trains are like a pack of sardines.
leicsmac Posted 2 May 2013 Posted 2 May 2013 this, just go to the train station will do it... there trains are like a pack of sardines. Seoul subway on a weekend shows you plenty of faces, too.
Finnegan Posted 2 May 2013 Posted 2 May 2013 Seoul subway on a weekend shows you plenty of faces, too. Stand at the pretty iconic crossing outside Shibuya station on the Tokyo metro and you get millions. Shinjuku is similar. Vibrant atmosphere, really is surreal. Miss it.

Lost count of the number of people vomiting in the street. Reminded me of over here which made it even more surreal. To add to life experience of seeing shitloads of people I'll nominate my 5 and a half months spent living in Mumbai. Bonkers population density.

Both Japanese and Korean populations for all their past differences have a love of getting massively shitfaced, throwing up in the street and passing out. Then turning up for work on time the following day. Amazing. Can imagine spending just an afternoon in Tokyo, Mumbai or Seoul and you'll see a ridiculous amount of people.

No wonder they are always so tired. Always sleeping on the trains. Cant imagine she was shitfaced the night before but I actually had a schoolgirl sleep on my shoulder. Weird experience that, especially when I had to get off.

That's probably because of the education system that makes the kids work in school from 8.30am to about 10pm practically every day. The results speak for themselves but it's not exactly people-friendly.
Finnegan Posted 2 May 2013 Posted 2 May 2013 The Japanese suits love rolling straight out of the office, drinking themselves silly in booths in eateries and passing out in a mess of their own dribble on the Metro, indeed. But we found clubbing in Shibuya (or Shi-BOOyeah!) to be a really friendly and surprisingly sober experience. I mean, we were hammered, but most other revellers were really very much in control. Nobody was aggressive, nobody was paralytic and messy, they were just dancing and having a great time.
JonnyBoy Posted 2 May 2013 Posted 2 May 2013 i work at the student union shop and i serve about 300 people + each time i work there, i bet i only recognise 1 out of 10 customers if that every time i work. Yet i bet i have served 99% of the people before. Weird.
