marbelladave Posted 13 May 2013 Share Posted 13 May 2013 The last few seconds of the game left me a bit twitchy but I was not at the game and I know that makes a big difference. Ten days ago I did not even expect us to make the playoffs and my anger at such a wasted opportunity this season left me fuming. The games against Watford were like some kind of epilogue to a season of failure that I had already come to terms with. The way we have been playing I had no expectation of getting past Watford and the penalty incident simply saved me from having to endure yet more agony. My only regret was that we never actually took on Watford with our 'A' game, had we played like we did back in September/October we would have beaten them comfortably, shame.
