MC Prussian Posted 30 June 2013 Posted 30 June 2013 You know something's terribly wrong with your youth football setup when you lose 2-0 against Egypt.
Fox in the North Posted 30 June 2013 Posted 30 June 2013 Well considering our best finish in this tournament was 3rd 1993 and we haven't gone past round 2 since 1997, I don't think it's quite the recent disaster even with Taylor in charge.
notnow john Posted 30 June 2013 Posted 30 June 2013 In 2010 when Rooney and co.were capitulating in S.Africa, England beat Spain in the under 17s final. Brooking eulogised about their tecnique and pointed to them as the bright future of English football. Fast forward three years and they are by and large the under 20s that have been so abysmal. Is it all down to Taylor?
Stadt Posted 30 June 2013 Posted 30 June 2013 Ward-Prowse has the most potential, imo.He was doing well at Southampton early on in the season, definite prospect.
