Haydos Posted 11 March 2014 Posted 11 March 2014 Scored 27 and conceded 1 in my last 6 Prem games Warning: Latest album dump incoming Main striker having his best season since signing for £7m four years ago. Inside forward signed three years back for £5m Hernandez will be my Gerrard. Signed for £500,000 back in 2014 when he was 16 I think he's also having his best season yet. Humblot the young CB signed at 14 is still progressing. Try to balance his game time with Zouma and Casasola. Averaging 7.75 in the Prem this year. 7 assists and 8 goals from 15 starts for Fernando. Been playing CM, AMC and AMR for me this year. Joined when he turned 18 for £3m. Splurged £17.5m on Oliveira 4 years ago and he's been solid the whole time averaging about 7.4 in the league since he's been here, playing mainly as a deep lying playmaker.
FoxLAD Posted 11 March 2014 Posted 11 March 2014 It's ok I've only gone a managed to beat Real Madrid.. with Dundee Utd!
Dan Posted 12 March 2014 Posted 12 March 2014 I think it also depends on what sort of agent they have because it's usually them who push for bigger wage demands. I always knock them down until they accept. If a player is worthy of a decent wage, I won't bother negotiating, but if it's for a bit-part player, I negotiate to as far low wage I can. If he doesn't budge, I don't bother. I negotiate with every player unless it's someone like Galan who straight up accepted £2.7k a week. Amazing really as he's one of my best players. Signed Diego Rubio for £900k and Jordon Mutch on a free as well as some cover. Mutch is a real coup for us and Rubio could be class. Value shot up to £4mil immediately.
StanSP Posted 12 March 2014 Posted 12 March 2014 I love when a wonderkid and his agent are happy to be backup and only play on something like £20k a week, then you have a high-earner on about £80k+ who can't string 3 or 4 good games together but won't accept anything less. Realistic I suppose in the latter sense .
Brainy Posted 12 March 2014 Posted 12 March 2014 Year and a half without any good job offers coming up now. Sparta Prague manager keeps being linked to take top jobs in the PL so at this rate i'll be back there. May have to load another league or two but I don't know which. I'm not interested in managing the England again, done Germany, not interested in Spain, France or Italy. I'd be interested in a team with a stature of the current Olympiakos side, but I wanna be in a relatively decent league and I think Olympiakos would be too strong. Maybe Belgium/Ukraine? Anderlecht/Shakhtar/Dnipro
Brainy Posted 12 March 2014 Posted 12 March 2014 Nah I wouldnt get much thrill out of winning the Asian CL. If I go foriegn i'd try the MLS.
Beliall Posted 12 March 2014 Posted 12 March 2014 fair enough, i'd probably cream my pants if i won it after all the false starts in this game
Brainy Posted 12 March 2014 Posted 12 March 2014 Convinced myself to atleast load the Italian League cause I don't think their clubs are a dominant force anymore.. now the Sparta job is available ffs! **** it i'm doing it. transfer budget 34m and wage budget 950k.. of which they're currently spending half of. how can i say no?
StanSP Posted 12 March 2014 Posted 12 March 2014 The Overload thing still doesn't work then. Can be losing 1-0 or 2-0 even with about 60-65 minutes gone. Change strategy to Overload with an attacking formation. No highlights or chances created. What's going on?

Same, I don't think it works. just play a more attacking formation and give more attacking shouts.
Beliall Posted 12 March 2014 Posted 12 March 2014 i find it olny works when you "go route one" and "take more risks"
Dan Posted 12 March 2014 Posted 12 March 2014 Happy with this start... Bordeaux 1-0 Le Havre Le Havre 0-0 Evian TG Nantes 0-2 Le Havre Le Havre 2-0 Lyon AS Monaco 1-1 Le Havre I went 4-1-1-3-1 at Nantes and what do you know.... The injuries are 100% fixed. I have two strikers in my squad and both got injured at Monaco. It happens far too often for it to be by chance.
Beliall Posted 13 March 2014 Posted 13 March 2014 I think each league has its quirks. Im getting red cards left right and center, had 2 sent off in one game and still won it 3-2. Injuries as well , a lot of those and if the screen indicates 3 mins injury time, expect 5-6 mins.
Dan Posted 13 March 2014 Posted 13 March 2014 Abracadabra, oh and look at that, we are back to being shit. Goal drought saved, by a 4-2 loss at Bastia. Going back to 4-3-3. 4-1-1-3-1 is utter crap against poor sides.
Beliall Posted 13 March 2014 Posted 13 March 2014 no, there was no chance, i had hoped he'd lower his demands after a trial but no luck.
