Dan Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 And to top everything all of you have just said, I have just avoided defeat away at PSG. 2-2 draw. I was leading with about 15 to go as well.
Dan Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 Unbelievable. Lost at home to ESTAC Troyes in the cup quarters, and to really rub salt in it, PSG were knocked out at Nantes too. Absolutely livid.
Buzzell Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 korean fa cup and asian champions league Oooooooooh
FoxLAD Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 Decided to give my Dundee Utd save a break. Fancy having ago at this pentagon challenge.
Beliall Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 you can get a job reasonably quickly with witbank spurs, but i think i had 5 saves woth them and i could not get a decent start. they are shocking. best bet is choose a rescue job around christmas, dont look to join a team that you could build with, i stayed in france for just long enough to raise my rep slightly, then i moved to korea. first job will be at a poor club so just use it to advance yourself. thats the trick i think, you have to build your manager, not your team.
Ross-Kemp Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 Won the league with QPR. Sold Remy for £10 million, transfer budget in the premier league ? £180k ! Arseholes !
LCFC FOX Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 I think I could be man city and still not get a good formation to win games, I'm crap this year
Beliall Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 interesting development, in the same email burst as "intial transfer budget of £0 and a wage reduction of 4.5k" for an upcoming season with champions league football, i get linked to the vacant job at seoul. i think i might have to see if i can get it. still no new contract btw
FoxLAD Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 Most of them. Literally. just x few in Europe that i haven't put in. nearly the season done, not even close
Beliall Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 i cant understand why not, interviews are rare but oyu should have had some by now
Brainy Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 I've won 29 of my last 31 games, a few of them stretching back to last season. Was on a 16 game winning streak in the league (equal record) then I played Slavia Prague away. 2-0 down after 10 mins, played shit but won 3-2 Hilarious aswell that pretty much my entire team was on intl duty for my final two games last season. I beat Slavia Prague away 2-0 with a few regulars in defence but an entire front 6 made up of a couple of B team players and mostly U21 players. A lad 15 years and 100 odd days played and scored and became my youngest ever player. Next game up against Mlada Boleslav (4th best team) same result
Dan Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 Boom Woah woah woah, what's going on with your goals scored and conceded? On your manager profile. ---------------------------------------------- In France, the top three qualify for the CL (top two into the groups, third into the play-off), fourth qualifies for the Europa, and then the two cup winners qualify based on their league position, similar to how it works in England. Monaco have won one cup already and Lille have Nantes in the final (although Nantes are well capable of pulling off the odd big win), so if Lille win, then the top six qualify for the Europa League and if they don't, the top five do, unless Lille win it and come 7th which would mean 6th don't. I have Ajaccio at home, Rennais away and Bordeaux at home. I'll be surprised if I make it to be honest as I have a torrid record against both Rennais and Bordeaux. Nailed on I come 6th and then Nantes beat Lille.
Dan Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 Marseille beaten at home by Monaco. I go 5th if I beat Ajaccio and 4th if I have a 4 goal swing with Nice (which isn't impossible). Bet I don't win. OGC Nice win 2-5 at Bastia, but Lille win the cup. So it's as simple as... finish above Nice or Marseille and I'm there. I'm finishing this season tonight. Expect ranting updates.
Dan Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 Excellent. Won 2-0. Dominated from start to finish and to top it off, my 17 year old academy product scored a goal of the season contender.
Brainy Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 Its our record in the year and a half since I rejoined. We score a lot. This season alone (with a few friendlies) we've scored 95 in 25. We've only scored 2 or less in 4/25
Dan Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 Blown it. (Ignore Lille's badge, I tried to be clever on Paint as the update had their old one and it backfired).
Dan Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 I don't believe this. Marseille have OGC Nice on the final day at home, so if I'd got a draw at Rennais, a win over Bordeaux would've guaranteed it. Uuuurgh... come on Nice
Dan Posted 20 March 2014 Posted 20 March 2014 Marseille 0-0 Nice, Le Havre 2-0 Bordeaux. So I finish sixth. Absolutely typical. I couldn't have been closer either. Oh well. Massive over-achievement. Best I've done anywhere yet.
