Beliall Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 ok heres the players, in order of ability and this is the 5-2-2-1 i used for the most of last season, and every game so far this season, i often switch a AM for a ST to make a 5-2-1-2 or a AM for a DM and make a 6-2-1-1 would like a formation that has a solid midfield and 2 up top, but i cant see a way to give me a solid defence too, anysuggestions appreciated. thanks (paulista scored 32 goals in the league last season, and he doesnt even take pens, great striker)
Beliall Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 thanks dan ill try the 3-4-1-2 tomorrow, he scored 32 goals last season, his average was closer to 8 then, currently he only has 12 goals....in 11 games also the team picked was for a cup game so i was resting some of my best players. the 6-2-1-1 goes CB - CB- CB WB DM WB MC MC AMC ST 6-2-1-1 sounds better than 3-3-2-1-1

You need to get Fang Xueyu playing though rather than a sub if he's 19 and rated as your best player? 7.19 average rating but bagged 32 goals? Reeks of inconsistency. Try a 3-4-1-2 with the wide mids moved to wing back? In other words, the same as the bottom one but two strikers rather than two AM's. I am delighted with this cup draw, it couldn't have gone much better IMO;

Bottled it away at Stade de Reims and drew awfully, before another big home game and we've only gone and blown it again, 0-1 to Lille, very even game but I knew we'd lose. OGC Nice have hit form and could overtake us with their game in hand, but they were away at Lyon - sure enough they've only gone and won and I knew they would as well. Oh well, at least it's only a trip to the Parc des ***** next.

I wonder if it's the update that's improved me or whether I've just cracked it without really doing anything hugely different other than a tweak of tactics. The money in France is a joke. Being in the Europa League will do bugger all for us financially.
Beliall Posted 18 March 2014 Posted 18 March 2014 it seems better since 14.3, still a few quirks but thats fm, i have restarted a lot so havent experienced good teams at all yet, been pentagoning all the way. my 5-2-2-1 is working still, have the 4-4-1-1 as back up, with the 3-4-1-2 you suggested, picked up 3 injurys and 2 bans after the last game, i think its korea

Not sure if i'd consider it cheating. At Sporting Lisbon I was 3-0 up at home in the 1st leg of a Europa League QF after 20mins, then I had the same problem. Replayed it a couple of times until I was satisfied with the 1st leg result and still got knocked out 2nd leg anyway so
