Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 18 July 2013 Posted 18 July 2013 Surprised nobody's mentioned this yet. One day....
StanSP Posted 18 July 2013 Posted 18 July 2013 Loved this place when I went. Estadio Vicente Calderon: Crazy how noisy it can get for such an open stadium. Visited Bernabeu, too, but not on a match-day. Still looked intimidatingly huge. I'd love to go to Juve's new stadium. That also looks scarily intimidating. Other favourite grounds include Goodison Park and of course, Filbert Street.
SystonFox Posted 18 July 2013 Posted 18 July 2013 Why has nobody said Camp Nou? Mentalists Anfield Goodison Hillsborough Southend (league 1 memories) Oak well Craven Cottage
ealingfox Posted 18 July 2013 Posted 18 July 2013 Been to both Camp Nou and the Bernabeu and honestly don't know which one I prefer. Visted Stadion Galgenwaard (The Gallows-House), home of FC Utrecht, a few times over the last year and I loved it:
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 18 July 2013 Posted 18 July 2013 You like big rocks. Typical aussie. It gets me rocks off
Basingstoke Fox Posted 18 July 2013 Posted 18 July 2013 Wow, some of you guys have been to some great stadiums! I'm jealous. My favourite of the ones I've been to is probably Upton Park or Craven Cottage just for our away end in the FA Cup years ago. The most electric atmosphere ever!
Father Ted Posted 18 July 2013 Posted 18 July 2013 This has to be the single best stand in the world imo
Stuliasz Posted 19 July 2013 Posted 19 July 2013 Surprised nobody's mentioned this yet. One day.... Went to to La Bombonera around 3 years ago for an all-Buenos Aires match against San Lorenzo. Most intense and amazing atmosphere I've ever experienced. Can't imagine what it must be like when they play River Plate.
