Drew 1-1 with Whitwick Compass, good point for us in the grand scheme of things.

Shit how we only have 5 league games left though.

5!! lol It's November!! lol we've got 19 and are still in 2 cups lol. Joke.

As Archer said 5-3 starting to work to work our way up the league after a slightly stuttered start and a lot of cup games meaning we've played less than everyone else. Need to keep winning though lot of work to do.

So much for your it'll be close between us and Sileby Saints on a Saturday Mr Wilkes they absolutely pounded us and certainly had a few more than just two ex senior league players lol ( I didn't play so lame blame soley at team mates door) Looks like we're playing for second place this season.

I know haha they're going to have to do that garbage with the Premier Cup again where its round robin.

Been drawn against Burton in the 3rd round of the county cup. Anyone have any info on them?

Not the greatest of sides but from when I seen them play against Poplar earlier in the season they're organised and have numbers, think they had 6 subs that morning! lol

We drew Stanny away in the County Cup, could have asked for a better draw. Especially as its already us v them for the League title.

Beat The Star Inn today 2-1 in our county cup match. Scrappy game, boggy pitch. Could've been 6-6 but the ball didn't seem to want to go in.

Burton FC?

Play Saturday's with a few of them, wingers will  be dangerous if you have weak full backs.

To be fair mate, only 2 or 3 of the team played in the senior league side last season. That's the quick little winger, the striker and the midfielder who is rough as nails. The rest I don't really know much about. Considering we beat them in pre season, they have exceeded my expectations. No offence to you but I think they will go on and win it now, but it all depends if the good lads stay as I know a few higher clubs will be sniffing at them.

And as for Sundays, I played, 3-0 down after 15 minutes.. our centre half who never really scores hit a volley in the 87th minute then our Keeper scores the equaliser 89th minute absolutely brilliant scenes.. made my season and probably best moment in Aths history.. Out of our depth in the Prem, some very very good footballers play in that division. We can't compete with that and when people ditch you aswell then it's time for change. Hopefully going to Alliance League next season, we're struggling at the moment. Charnwood league don't seem that arsed anyway, they've sent us an e-mail saying thank you lol Look forward to seeing a few FT'ers in the lower divs (pending we get accepted) (ps we won't be pot hunting before anyone starts!!) (pps any leicester lads interested in playing next season, our home ground is only off the A6 rothley junction and away games.. well the world is your oyster)

They had a center half as well who looked like he had played higher, maybe he was the midfielder you refer to as I don't remember anyone standing out in the center of the park for them. Having said that they might not have the same team you beat pre season, they drew with Sutton Bonnington (who are dreadful) they opening game and since that they've got a lot better

The winger did the damage think he scored 4 of the 5 goals, ripped our right back to pieces cringe worthy to watch only upside of it was I might get my place back now I'm fit again lol. Your probably right it's still only four points as you say they might lose players so all we can do is get back on it.

As I say to everyone in that league if you can find an alternative I'd take it, joke of a league, 5 league games left in mid November never herd anything so stupid.

They've got twins who are both very decent aswell. To be fair when we can get the little lad out of bed on Sundays he is dangerous, he's not bothered about playing hense why he's playing lower down. Another lad who didn't play last weekend against you and I think he's even better. Yeah hopefully comes to plan next season, well structured sunday league alliance is, wish we joined earlier. Is burton league good?

Yeah, well whilst we didn't really turn up against them I think had we played better they'd of still beat us. It'll all by decided by the 21st December anyway, if we don't go to their place and win it really is all over and its us Greenhill and Ravo fighting for 2nd place.

3-2 win Sunday, last minute OG, dramatic, up to third.

Surrendered and 3-2 lead in the last 10 minutes of our 2,3,4 cup quarter final yesterday and lost 4-3 lol. Missed an absolute hat full as well, Fcking football.

Not Sunday related football but St Andrews football club from Aylestone have been drawn away against Rushden & Diamonds in the last 32 of the FA Vase.

Massive game for a club of St Andrews size.

That's huge. Any other Leicester based clubs still in that?

Let's get this back up and running people!!

So it's the last season in the Charnwood Sunday League for Aths, we're starting from scratch again next season and giving Alliance League a go. Looking forward to seeing some faces!!

Also we will be holding a 5 a side tournament in the summer, any sunday teams interested, give me a shout. Will be sending a lot of invites to Sunday member clubs.

Our team might be interested Shauny Boy.

Got smashed by Poplar in the county cup Sunday. Missing our top scorer, best player, myself and two other lads was never gonna be good!

Both teams were crap, Poplar just better than us simple than that. Good luck to them.

Yes mate, we should be able to get a couple of teams out I reckon. When you send the invites out, let me know and I'll pass one on to our manager.

Won 2-0 at NKF Hinckley Knights on Sunday in the County Cup, into the semis now and we're also playing a League Cup quarter final this Sunday. Huge couple of weeks. We also pretty much have the league wrapped up, 10 points clear, 2nd has a game in hand over us but only 4 games to go.

Had a great result on Sunday beating Quorn Royals in Group B of the Premier Cup. Went 3-0 up aswell and they pulled one back before the half, after that we defended for our lives and nicked a late winner. Going through a massive transition period now which should put us in good sted for the Alliance League next season.
