Manwell Pablo theses nothing to discuss.

 

The joys of football, smashed one team 6-1 one week to then get smashed roughly the same the week after. I do make that 1-1 in the series between Ashby and AFC. Def need to have a decider at some point when we both have a full squads

I've joined Oadby Athletic this season in LSL... Not sure if im firsts or ressies yet. First season in LSL, not a patch on Alliance from what I've heard though.

Paddy and Callum Earls.

Callum doesn't play that often though. Think he only helps out sometimes cause his girlfriends brother plays for them.

Yeah, Paddy is quality. Not seen Callum play tbf.

We'll play you every summer mate, nice to play a team interested in playing football in both games and not kick 10 bells out of you! Be a bit hard to play mid season this year as we've joined a league where your play a proper amount of league games instead of the 14 we played last year :-/

 

On the subject of kicking 10 bells out of you, we played AFC Vic yesterday and lost 3-2, could of gone either way but hey ho only a friendly. They'll be a handful in your league, signed a good striker from Cross Keys who plays for Greenhill on a Saturday. One of their players got sent off for trying to commit ABH on one of our midfielders, so look forward to that.

 

Another decent performance for us though all things considered, the fact that we're mixing it with decent Division 2 sides from Charnwood bodes well for Burton Division 3 given the standards noticeably lower through all divisions. Greyhound Reserves tomorrow night/.

We played them last season. Their manager was the worst of the lot of them, but i hear they have a new manager. We have a centre back who plays at a decent level (didn't play in the 2nd friendly), so hopefully he will be able to take him out the game. We'll have a few tough games this season and will need to keep our cool and hope we get a strong enough referee.

They did break my leg though  :P  Is that Jazz who has signed for the Vic then from Cross Keys?

Matt Wharton has asked me to play for the Vic this season.

Don't tell me Jazz has left Cross keys??! I KNEW that'd happen after he left us last summer when we got promoted to the Prem! He also turned down Compass to come play for us as compass are well established in the Prem. Big fish small pond springs to mind.

I'll wager jazz will be off again next season if the Vic get in the Prem

Ridiculous that Cross Keys striker has moved down divisions AGAIN. Greenhill Sunday > Prem fold. Swannington > Prem fold. Cross Keys > Prem lose main striker, others could follow. He should be banned, he's cack anyway couldn't get any change out of us.

He also chose us instead of Compass as they were in the Prem.

It was quite funny as well as some of the arselicking that went on between them all at x Keys was embaradsong I remember one day on Facebook (they'd evidently lost) their captain thanked him for putting in so many runs off the ball etc. Jazz replied, 'no problem mate I'd do owt for you guys'

I was nearly sick!

Really miss swannington. Tevez knows how shit we used to be but we managed to become a halt decent side. We'd have got trounced in the Prem I know but probably wouldve held our own in division 1.

Although we walked division 2 in our last season I'd actually say our best side was the season before winning that cup against poplar. They couldn't believe we hammered em that night lol

Don't suppose anybody fancies playing for us in goal, season starts on Sunday but our keeper is off to Uni and cannot play as a consequence. Play our home games at Stonehill School in Birstall.
