Dan Posted 12 September 2013 Posted 12 September 2013 Milner looked a cracking player at both Newcastle and Villa but since he's joined Man City he's looked pretty average maybe it's because he doesn't get many games? which begs the question why pick a player who isn't getting much first team action for his club! Agree with you here. Further evidence that sugar daddy owners are killing the game, although it sums up the mentality of a lot of the players that they'll happily not play if they're picking up a bigger wage packet. Shows where their priorities lie and I'd rather have even Championship players than them.

The wage packet, the cover of heat magazone with your wag and a career afterwards on Dancing on ice etc is more important for a lot of them than what happens on the pitch. I didn't see it myself but I was told today Sky Sports compared the cost of Bale and Ronaldo's manbags when they met each other, I really reallly hope that wasn't true.

Corky Posted 13 September 2013 Posted 13 September 2013 Milner's not a bad player, it's just that he's been conditioned to help out defensively rather than attack, so people associate his name with negativity.

It happened, saw it with my own eyes, it's absolutely pathetic. $ky Sports 'News' really is woeful these days. Don't think he's any worse at what he does than Walcott or Walker.

I'm more interested in knowing how much that prat gets paid to report that kind of bullshit.
Stadt Posted 13 September 2013 Posted 13 September 2013 What's with the Walcott bashing, he's one of our most dangerous players?
