Samilktray Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 It amazes me that Tom Cleverley plays for England & Man United.
Leicesterpool Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 Nearly a day after you posting this ive just figured what you meant. Moron For a start Leicester are one of the best represented at away games. Secondly are you suggesting the away fans should boo and in suggesting that are you admitting you boo at city? Seriously, **** off and support Villa if so. Not boo, but cheer them on more, give them more chants. The england fans who go only seem to know two songs!
Finnegan Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 It amazes me that Tom Cleverley plays for England & Man United. For the record, I'd take Aaron Ramsey over Tom Cleverley.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 ... should you maybe have been quoting Leicesterpool not Simmo? Doh
Samilktray Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 For the record, I'd take Aaron Ramsey over Tom Cleverley. I'd take Andy King over him.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 Not boo, but cheer them on more, give them more chants. The england fans who go only seem to know two songs! Theyre being drowned out by 60k loud home fans. Our away support is very very good IMO
Leicesterpool Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 We'll we've done it, but bloody hell that was poor we can't play like that in the actual thing! So Montenegro next!
Finnegan Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 England fans are boring as fvck but they are loud and numerous. You'd have to be retarded to say otherwise. There's been major tournaments on the tele where there's been almost as many England fans as "natives."
Webbo Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 Feck me but that 2nd half was painful to watch. Decent point though.
Guest MattP Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 England fans are boring as fvck but they are loud and numerous. You'd have to be retarded to say otherwise. There's been major tournaments on the tele where there's been almost as many England fans as "natives." That;s because half the ones with any personality have long been banned.
Danno Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 God we must be shit if Ricky Lambert can play a full 90 mins in an England shirt.
Dan Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 Well that was one of the worst games I have ever seen and I am not even exaggerating. Utter, utter shite from both sides.
Kitchandro Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 Like pulling teeth as usual. And as usual we have the pundits praising the team on a 'job well done'. What a pitiful country we are.
Simmo86 Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 Job done. Fingers crossed we done feck the home games up now!
Soar Fox Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 To think 15 years ago we had strikers like Shearer, Sheringham, Andy Cole, Ferdinand, Owen, Ian Wright, Fowler to choose from. Then tonight our only recognised forwards are Lambert and Defoe. It really is frustrating that a nation as big as ours hasn't produced more World class players.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 I wouldn't put it past us dropping points v Montenegro
Leicesterpool Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 I would have hated to travel all that way and pay to watch that bore of a game. Tell you what though, we didn't talk much about Ukraine tonight you could argue they missed a big opportunity tonight. At times they looked just as dissapointing, watching them tonight i can't see them qualifying I won't be surprised if Poland sneak in!
Dan Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 Yep, far from over this despite what the media will tell you. We are capable of dropping points to either. After that I'd fancy two draws. I cannot actually get over how shit to watch we are.
Corky Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 We are playing a very risky game looking to pick up draws away and believing our home games will see us through. We, for some unknown reason, seem to fear Montenegro and Poland will have something to play for. Roy Keane is spot on, England overplay the quality of the opposition and underestimate our own. A bit more ambition against an average Ukraine side would've seen us three points clear and with proper breathing space. We used to moan about the foreign managers but we never had any trouble qualifying under them, oh for those days.
Kitchandro Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 Job done. Fingers crossed we done feck the home games up now! It's really sad that scraping a 0-0 at Ukraine and not even showing a sign that we're trying to improve as a football team is considered the 'job'.
Simmo86 Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 I would have hated to travel all that way and pay to watch that bore of a game. Risk you take when following any football team
City_4_Life Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 So MOTM folks? Cahill for me. Although England were poor overall and never really threatened. This group is far from over.
eye666 Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 Motm was the ukraine number 10. Ashley Young is garbage. I know he's coming back from an injury, but that was so poor tonight. Lambert looked like a good Steve Howard tonight, but not England material. Decent point in a tricky away game, but some players aren't fit to wear the white shirt - I'm looking at you Kyle...
