davieG Posted 12 September 2013 Posted 12 September 2013 Sorry didn't see that - feel free to delete thread. No, if the beeb missed it I'm sure plenty of others haven't realised either
sg6 Posted 12 September 2013 Posted 12 September 2013 Is the writer of the article related to Derek Fazackerley, cant imagine its a common surname?
Foxes_Trust Posted 12 September 2013 Posted 12 September 2013 Yet again fails to detail that the Trust put forward the idea to the club. We proposed a slightly different format to the version the club implemented, but the overall principal of a payback once x games reached was achieved

Just a question

blueonyou Posted 12 September 2013 Posted 12 September 2013 Yet again fails to detail that the Trust put forward the idea to the club. "During a thorough consultation period with our supporters"
indierich06 Posted 13 September 2013 Posted 13 September 2013 Yet again fails to detail that the Trust put forward the idea to the club. We proposed a slightly different format to the version the club implemented, but the overall principal of a payback once x games reached was achieved Why can't you just take satisfaction that you got a good deal for the supporters, rather than moaning that you haven't got a namecheck? What does it matter?
Strokes Posted 13 September 2013 Posted 13 September 2013 Why can't you just take satisfaction that you got a good deal for the supporters, rather than moaning that you haven't got a namecheck? What does it matter? They act in our interests and would like more of us to join, the more positive things we see the more likely that is, I guess.
svensson Posted 13 September 2013 Posted 13 September 2013 They act in our interests and would like more of us to join, the more positive things we see the more likely that is, I guess. Where are they on match days??
XLM Posted 13 September 2013 Posted 13 September 2013 So do season ticket holders get a full refund on tickets for individual matches shown on TV? Or just a partial amount? TOP should offer tickets for TV games for a fiver so at least we have a chance of filling most of the stadium on televised game days. Otherwise it really looks dead in there.
Corky Posted 13 September 2013 Posted 13 September 2013 We won't have that many games moved, and it'll probably be to the early slot on a Saturday in any case.
Strokes Posted 13 September 2013 Posted 13 September 2013 Where are they on match days??Watching the game maybe.
svensson Posted 13 September 2013 Posted 13 September 2013 Watching the game maybe.[/quote Clever.... If they wish to drum up support/numbers why are they not actively doing this before or after the home games?
indierich06 Posted 13 September 2013 Posted 13 September 2013 They act in our interests and would like more of us to join, the more positive things we see the more likely that is, I guess. They've never been on here asking for support or people to join them. Quite the opposite - they act like an aloof independent body who think they're better than the average fans. Their moaning on this thread just shows they're in it more for the glory than the fans.

I get that feeling too.
Foxes_Trust Posted 13 September 2013 Posted 13 September 2013 They act in our interests and would like more of us to join, the more positive things we see the more likely that is, I guess. That's correct Strokes, it can just get a bit tiresome that any suggestions that we put forward to the club that are adopted are never credited to us. Because if we then have to point it out ourselves, the reaction is often then like several posters on this thread. No we aren't "in it for the glory" but if fans are made aware of things we have achieved, we hope more fans would join the Trust. So to answer another poster, we invite all posters on here to join the Trust http://www.foxestrust.com/join/joinwp.htm The first stage is becoming a member, but we would really like more people actively involved in the Trust, and the board recognises that the 16 - 30 age group is not sufficiently represented on the Trust board, so as this message board has the greater % of posters in this age range than any other, we would hope a future board member could come from here.

Why do you not do anything on a match day?
Bryn Posted 13 September 2013 Posted 13 September 2013 I wasn't aware that the role of the Foxes Trust was to promote brand awareness of the Foxes Trust.
Foxes_Trust Posted 13 September 2013 Posted 13 September 2013 Why do you not do anything on a match day? The Trust office is open on match days http://foxestrust.co.uk/finding-the-trust-office Visitors tend to be existing members coming in for a chat or paying renewals, but all are welcome (membership application forms are readily available However I suspect you mean outside or around the ground ? From past experience there are some limitations on activity due to "health & safety issues" What would you like to see us do ?
