I know all about Oxford.

I remember going there years ago and being surprised that there wasn't a Woolworths (obviously this is less surprising now).

Actually, it may have been Cambridge, it was a long time ago.

When do I start?

Would a special role for Foxy Peter need to be negotiated into the package?

Oxford has appeared in both editions of Crap Towns, in the top 50 on both occasions.

Another fact you could tell him.

He's always sort of there anyway so it's not really worth it.

I think I'll be needing to negotiate the fees upwards at this rate

What a terrible wage.

As a private tutor I charge between 50 and 100 an hour plus expenses and I'm not expensive.

1 to 1 tuition at my old school cost 3500 euros for 30 hours and for that the student came to us and we only taught during the day.

Do you think there might be some weird sexy stuff involved?

On a serious note it went through my mind reading the article.

This is ****ing annoying. My lad has just sat his History Aptitude test for Oxford. He hopes to get in next year. He has worked bloody hard without any private tutors and with the definite disadvantage of a Dad who spends too much time on FT. If I could afford a tutor/coach it would quite likely improve his chances and the place would go to someone I think is more deserving.

Teaching him to speak english like a native ey?

So he wants to learn grim, casually racist humour - just send him into the joke thread, he'll soon get the gist of it.

Oxbridge is overrated imo.

One of my Masters degrees were from Cambridge.

If I can do it anyone can.

My nephew is on the boat race "squad" this year.
