When it's not your day.......move on!

If it’s not your day, then it’s not your day! So, forget Forest – if you’ve not already done  so! We move on and I reckon the next eight matches will make or break our season.

The first four, of which three are ‘Away,’ are all potential banana skins. On current form, we should be quite capable of doing the business but! In the recent past, all four teams Ipswich, Millwall, Wednesday and Brighton have managed to embarrassed us. We could and probably should get 12 points but by the same token, we could get none!

The next four are fascinating. Burnley at home promises to be a cracker, Man City will be a corker, QPR – can’t wait! And Reading could be a Boxing day bonanza!

Living in Stockport, I am surrounded by City and United fans. When I’m out, I always wear my light grey Leicester City coat which displays the City badge quite clearly. It is not however all that different to the Man City badge and many a Man City fan think I’m one of them and get a surprise when they realise it’s LCFC.

As one fan put it ‘Hey Mate, are you trying to wind me up?’

But more seriously, they are concerned about the team’s form , away from Eastlands, having lost four league games, the latest being yesterday. Champions League and respectability in the PL are priorities over and above the Capital One Cup. On the other hand, my United friends have been impressed with the Foxes this season and are of the opinion that we will come out on top.

Top post well said.

I've moved on, I moved on Saturday night.

Same here though I avoided the main forum since to avoid the usual knee jerk reactions.

We were due a bad game, and we could still be playing now and we wouldn't have scored. I didn't for one minute think we'd score that penalty and immediately after you knew it was all over.

Still 2nd who cares?

i really thought we played very well, made loads of chances but just didn't seem to get that extra bit of luck .

Against Watford we got too much luck and it seemed a reversal of that game to me.

Football is a funny old game Saint.

I've moved on.

A freak first half and a poor second half, I saw enough at Vicarage Road and indeed so far this season to be able to work out we'll be OK.

These day's happen to every football club. No need to be despondent, as I feel sure we will pick quickly.

We need to back the team through the game, and not just the good parts. That alone would be like having an player on the field.
