Finnaldo Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 So boys, end of City's football for 2013, and halfway through the season, and we're four points clear of Derby/Burnley with a 20th placed Millwall up next. Looking good so far. Team has got the results, and while it hasn't always been pretty , today being a prime example, the boys have kept going and ran off the pitch with the points. Seem to have a balanced squad and with a couple of new faces we could be looking at a very bright 2014. Up the City!
Loggy88 Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 I think we have more bottle this season and we have won a lot of games by the odd goal and today was a game where we were behind twice but kept going, showed some quality and won the game. Great way to end the year and its going to be a hell of a time til the end if the season!
5waller5 Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Halfway and more than halfway there!!! Every game that we don't lose now is a game with a tick in it for promotion!!!! A good run of 5 or 6 wins and it's hard to imagine us not getting to the finish line!!!!
Devonfox1884 Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Can't wait for the next game now, which is something i haven't said for a while!! Allez les bleus!!
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 20th placed Millwall up next..... Another Sheffield Wednesday performance coming then.
BoneDog Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 If we can get 10 wins and 5 draws from the second half of the season it should mean promotion
Guest kristianity77 Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 I think that even now it would take a monumental cock up bigger than last season to not finish in the Playoffs. 23 games left, 8 wins will probably see us in the playoffs from here which i still see as the first hurdle to cross before thinking about anything else.
Trumpet Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Without sounding too much like Pearson, we need to take each game as it comes. Remember the mood after the Brighton loss, with Burnley, QPR, Reading and Man city coming up? Great turn around and character.

We do indeed ..... and every one that we pick up points from is a tick in the 23 remaining boxes ....
pazzerfox Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 We are one point better off than Cardiff were this time last year!!
The Year Of The Fox Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 20th placed Millwall up next..... Another Sheffield Wednesday performance coming then. Agree
